debbidowright & DH will be in the house of mouse starting October 27th! First Food and Wine Fest - so excited! We received Magic Bands last week - totally surprised to be able to get them. Now I have to find out how to use them or activate them. Any ideas on crowd levels?

Hi all, I'm new to the board and this will be our first trip, Celebrating our daughter's 6th birthday!

10-12 through 10-19, staying at AoA in a little mermaid room.

We got the DDP, and look forward to the food and wine fest, too.

Funny thing is, we have a pseudo-doppleganger! There is another family, same last name, also from NJ, with similar reservations for both bibbidy-bobbidy-botique and CRT on the same day! Needless to say, this has caused some confusion when making some followup calls about reservations.

I do hope we manage to bump into them some how. Reservation times are different, but you never know!

Disney is the best place to celebrate a birthday!! We celebrated both my boys' b-days in 2007. Truly magical!!

I have celebrated my b-day there 3x and no you don't need to be a kid to have a b-day in Disney!! It is the best!

Make sure you get her a birthday button at any guest relations, and that she wears it all week not just on her b-day. I call it my b-day "trip" not day. Lol. She will get special attention and cast members saying happy b-day. It's really special.

Hope you have a fantastic time. We will be there the 12th-15th for a quick F&W trip-Yum!!!!

Has anyone noticed when MDE shows FP reservations it says "FP+ for one"? So it scared me that DH's FP reservations are not there. But when I clicked to copy my reservations to another party member it showed he already has reservations. When I clicked his name it confirmed he has the same times I do. Now I tried to look again and I keep getting a message that "no dates or times are available" for my friends or family. Really? ALL FP+ days AND times are gone? Why do I doubt that?

We leave in 6 days, and I just added on another park day. We went from 4 park days to 7. our last two days will be in Sea World and Discovery Cove. We were going to visit winter at clearwater aquarium but that changed since they are filming Dolphin Tale 2.

As a follow up to my earlier post, I notice depending on where I click in MDE it sometimes says FP+ for one and sometimes it says, FP+ for two, and in one place our FP+ for 10/18 don't show up at ALL. With such inconsistency, I hope they are all really in the system and there won't be any issues when we arrive.

that is funny about the other family. Maybe you will run into them. Where do you live I'm NJ? I am originally from NJ.

wasn't sure of your resort or dates but tried to add you to the list.

Halloween at Disney Driving to POFQ on Oct. 27th and staying until Nov. 3rd.
MNSSHP on the 29th
Not big into TS, takes to much of our time, DD's and myself get antsy after 30minutes
Bands have arrived and FP+ is set. Majority of our schedule falls on low crowd level days

I can't wait to try the magic bands. Hopefully everything goes off without a hitch.

We just cancelled our 10/22 5:15 LeCellier ADR. We will now be attending MNSSHP on 10/22! We are also adding Blizzard Beach that day.

My 18yo daughter & I leave in 6 days for our first Food & Wine festival and our first MNSSHP!! She has a fall break from college and we are taking advantage of it. We are both HUGE Disney fans. In fact this will be our 4 Disney trip this year & we live 10 hours away & always drive down. This will mark my 30th Disney experience. We are so excited about doing 2 events we've never done before. And with magic bands, too!! Lots of new experiences and more magical Disney memories ahead!! °O°

We arrive on 10/31 and we are staying until 11/4. The countdown has officially begun for us! This is our 4th trip and my friend and her daughter are joining us and it's their first trip so we are hoping that it is extra magical!

Oops! I forgot to mention that we will be staying at the Contemporary resort.

10/31 - MNSSHP
11/1 - Epcot
11/2 - HS
11/3 - MK
11/4 - AK

The date is fast approaching! We received our magic bands in the mail, have made all of our ADR's and even got to add on lunch at BOG using that fast pass lunch time. I wanted dinner there but this works too
