I just wanted to report that Amanda (PrincessBride010103 ) delivered baby Eric this morning at 11:08am and he is 7 pounds 12 ounces!

I'm sure she would want all of you to know

That is awesome!! Uggg I miss her - I wish she was still here..... Tell her we are so happy for her and we would love to see pictures!!

Ok LIsa, I can make you feel better!
I am 35, not due until 1/30/09.
I have gained a TON and am w/ in a few pounds of what I DELIVERED DD1 at 6 years ago!!!!
I am only 5' tall and every ounce shows...this is crazy.
I am sick w/ this baby and eating all the time to get rid of that nasea ...
My big challenge? I am matron of honor at a WDW wedding on 4/16/09 and they already ordered my dress before we knew I was prego!!!

I know, the dress thing is funny! The bride, maid of honor and matron of honor (me) all live in different states! So, we had a girls weekend and knocked out the wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses and even mother of the bride!

I am getting nervous for my dr. appt next week! We are scheduled for an amnio and I have never had one ... any of you????

How did you guys pick your baby names? How early in did you start with names?

With my DS, I knew before I was even pregnant that if I had a boy he would be PJ (Peter Jr.) - we ended up giving him a middle name so he is Peter Jacob, but we still call him PJ.

With DD, I wanted to name her Paris, but DH was dead set against. One day we were driving and I just mentioned the name Cameran and he looked at me and said, "yep, that's it" and we just knew that was her name. We had planned on naming her Parker if she was a boy.

With this baby, we are already set on a boy's name - Jack Martin. Jack just because I really like the name and Martin after my husband's grandfather who passed way 2 years ago. We also like Zoey, Chloe, or Kendal for a girl, but so far nothing is set in stone for a girl......(which probably means that this baby WILL be a girl! )

We've chosen the boy's name because it's a family name (I'm not revealing it yet). We're totally up in the air on girls' names, so we're probably having a girl, too!

We have been set on boys name for YEARS which is probably why we had two girls.

Now my DH is waffling on the boys name. Which is/was August Teisen (two family names) ...soooooooooo, we will probably have a boy - and the biggest garage sale in the history of the world, as we are strictly PINK fluffy princess household!!!

I am also not so sure about Gus anymore. I like Teisen a lot, even as a first name, but wonder if the spelling is not masculine? It is his Grandmothers maiden name.

We were always going to name a girl Laura. Somehow, we came across the name Jillian and loved it. So DD1 is named Jillian Elise.

The second my DH and DD loved Annabel. I liked Camille. When she was born DH asked her ( i know!) if she liked Camille, he says she cried, so he told her she could be Annabel and if she liked that better and she stopped crying (mmhmmm).

Our list this time around ... it's still early... Genevieve (genna), Regina (gina), Thea, Bridget...we have not a clue.

Thanks for the support on amnio... I am freakin out. Hubby is traveling and won't be home until right before test.
Last week the hospital called and said I test positive as a carrier for Cystic Fibrosis...what????????? Turns out our OLD OB office does not test ... this one does. DH has been gone, and cannot be tested and it takes weeks to get results or something bizarre which leaves us up in the air b/c we have no a clue of his status. The genetics dept. did send him a test kit where he is but it has not arrived yet.
I DO NOT want to do this again. DD1 tested like 1/50 for Downs...she is fine (thank you God) but it was really stressful how it all played out b/c I refused the amnio that time.
Please keep us in your prayers...as I am 35 (they keep reminding me at the OB that I am old).....
Anyway, I am waffling btwn calm and confident .... and then I worry that I got selfish and pushed my luck, and should have been content w/ the most wonderful two kids (IMO) that God put on earth

I can't tell you how much I love the name Jillian. I just wish DH did too.

Don't worry about your amnio, everything will be ok. I swear those tests do more harm than good with people. All of that stress waiting on results! Just remember that God won't give you more than you can handle!

But Laura's such a nice name! I think Jillian's terrific, though, but I do love my name. I highly recommend it to anyone who can't decide on a girl's name.

My older brother's name was going to be Laura if he'd been a girl, and my parents still liked it when I came around. I would have been Nicholas if I'd been a boy.

I really like Kendal for a girl, but can't think of a middle name. I like Kendal Elise, but DH doesn't like the name Elise. I figure that if I am the one that is going through the vomitting, the weight gain, and the major surgery (c-section and tubal ligation) - the least he can do is let me pick the freaking middle name!

Wow, is there ever a dull moment with my two?!!! Growth check this morning at Maternal Fetal Medicine showed that both babies are growing very well, but that my little girl is actually a little boy!

Ack! We had only decided on a girl's name We can't even come up with one boy's name, and now we need two! Luckily we haven't bought anything yet too pink The shower invites had already gone out, but that will make for a funny story in a few years.

I have to admit, I did have a few minutes of saddness when we were told, but I think we'll be just as happy in the long run. Now, just need some names!
