Congratulations! How exciting! Wonder where all those boy vibes came from? Maybe she will surprise you and may miraculously be a boy .

Had my doc. appt. yesterday. I am now 36 weeks 2 days. Want to hear something crazy? By my dates, I am due Sept. 3rd. But, on my first OB appt, the midwife said, "we need to add a day because of leap year". Is that the dumbest thing ever? Forty weeks from Nov. 28th is Sept. 3rd. End of story. So, I keep laughing it off, but I soooo want them to change my chart.

I went through the same thing! They changed my date to July 10th, but I refused. I had an embryo transfer on a Friday, October whatever. 40 weeks from then was Friday, July 11th. Period. I threw a fit when my mom tried to "remind me" otherwise!

Seriously!!! It was so sweet - hubby came home and looked online for a Cinderella costume that came small enough to fit her (12 months) when we go in January 2010!! It was so sweet!!! We will definitely be frequent visitors of the BBB!!

I don't think to - she flashed us like 5 different times and there was no denying she was a girl!!! I even told the tech from the get go I was SURE it was boy so she checked and checked and double checked, but nope - she's a girl!! I couldn't be more happier!! I am so happy we are having a little princess!!

It's a ! That's wonderful. And I love the name Ava.

Thank you!!!! We have been stuck on that name from the very beginning!

Sorry to intrude on your thread, ladies, but I wanted to say Congrats to DM2008. I remember when you were TTC how much you thought it would be a boy. I was worried you would be disappointed that it is a girl, but it sounds like you couldn't be happier. I think you will really enjoy watching your DH fall in love with Ava. (I love her name, BTW).

Awww that's so sweet of you to remember me and congratulate me!! We are so thrilled that we are having a little princess - she is so beautiful and so precious already!! Thank you re: her name - we have loved the name since day one of this pregnancy - we picked it at the beginning in case we did have a girl and have stuck with it since!!!! Thank you so much again!!

Good morning ladies! How's everyone feeling? I am getting frustrated...had 2 dreams re: the sex of the baby...both said the same thing. Still have 2 1/2 weeks before I can find out and it's driving me nuts!!! I also haven't told anyone what my dreams said and that's driving me nuts too!!!

Anyone else have "the dream"?

haven't yet on this pregnancy...had 2 on my first and they were correct.

We went shopping/looking last night for paint colors and wall borders...I can't wait either to find b/g b/c I'm anxious to work on the nursery! Our 1st child my DH was still painting the room about 3 wks before -- which meant lots of scrambling to get the room together.

So, without saying what the sex was, are your dreams in line with what you were thinking?

Nope, no baby dreams here. I do not feel that I have a clue what sex the baby will be.

I am feeling pretty crappy today though most of last week, I was doing better. I thought I was getting over this whole all day nausea thing!

I had a dream very early on that it was a girl... though the first US showed an HR of 125-so if you go by that old wives tale about high HR=girl then i am probably wrong...

I still have about 8 weeks before we can find out!

ADAMANDLISA it will be interesting to see if your dreams are correct!

I feel like I'm having a girl for some reason. My body is saying, "girl, girl, girl, girl, girl, girl!!!!" Of course, I've never been good at any of this - I thought that I was having a girl when I was pregnant with my son and I thought I was having another boy when I was pregnant with my daughter so obviously my radar is off.....

I never had any dreams that Ava was a girl - I just had the strongest feeling she was a boy!! Clearly she wasn't!!


I have to share this - I am so excited!!

We were riding down the road on the way to see hubby's parents and I was almost sound asleep - I had just drifted off. All of a sudden a felt a little tap that woke me straight up!! Then I felt Ava turn a complete flip! It was so amazing!!! I literally felt her to a complete turn in my belly!!! That was the first time I have ever felt her move and it was so amazing! It literally had me in tears! I couldn't stop smiling for th rest of the day! Since then I've just felt little butterfly like feelings, but they are still so great!!
