Can I preface this by saying that I'm usually really good at keeping up with how all these types of things work? But this has me so confused. First, I DID know there was a SOG resort but I had NO idea about other military discounts at other hotels OR for tickets, etc. DH is an Air Force veteran so this whole thing has peaked my interest.
We are going to WDW next April. It will be my kids first trip and my inlaws are coming with us and have already booked the hotel with their DVC. But what I'm interested in now is park tickets.
So... I'm sure it's been answered a few times but I'm still confused... sorry. As my boss will say to me sometimes, okay, please, like I'm a 6 year old.
1) Is there a military discount on tickets only for Veterans (not active duty)? Or I realize this can be released so... if not released for next April, could it be???
2) DH doesn't have a military ID but does have a valid DD-214. Is that valid identification?
3) IF all the above is yes, then we have to purchase these tickets at SOG? Do they have to be reserved? Can they run out?
Thanks everyone!!!
Tixs don't have to be reserved they do not run out.
SOG states this for non-retired military vets, which would apply to your DH since he served during the Gulf War
