We just bought at SSR this month! Woohoo! We are planning a 2 week stay next year from July 22nd thru Aug 5th, and we'd like some advice on best booking, since it falls over 2 different months. We do plan on staying at SSR. Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks

Welcome home! Since you are booking at your home resort, you can call 11 months from your check-out date to make the reservation. If you will be checking out on Aug 6, 2008, you can call on Sep 6, 2007 to book your stay. Even though your reservation spans two different months, the entire reservation falls within Magic Season so the point rate does not change between July 31st and Aug 1st. Remember that BOOKING has very little to do with use year month. You can always book at 11 months from check out for your home resort and 7 months from check out for a non-home resort.

I guess we are concerned that if we wait until Sep, that we might not get a reservation. Would it make any sense to book part of the trip in Aug, and add days in Sep?

You shouldn't have any problem booking a SSR vacation at 11 months for July and Aug. If you do, we are all in a big pot of trouble.
