just wanted to say hi me and my wife just got done closing on you bcv and have planed a trip for this summer june 28 to july 7 we have been to disney many times before but we are very excited about our trip this year so if any one can tell us any helpful things about our first dvc visit that would be cool other than that just wanted to say hi and cant wait to come home

can any one help me out and tell me how i can get one of those counters everyones got

Well, redwing192000, let me be the first to say Welcome home! Congratulations on your purchase into the DVC. We, like you, are new to the DVC too, only we're not official yet- that'll happen on Monday! I'm so excited! And may I say on a personal note, LOVE your name- we just moved from South Lyon to Oregon- really miss watching the wings and all Detroit related things! Sorry, but I can't help you with the countdown, but I know someone will be able to tell you were to go on this site to get it!

Our trip overlaps with yours too and is almost indentical with SheriB's trip - We are going June 22-31, 2003 and we are also at BCV!

Are 1st DVC trip was to OKW(we love it there!) - If you are staying in a 1bdrm or bigger you will have a full kitchen and a W&D a jacuzzi tub - just to be able to go home with all clean clothes wowed us - If you are staying in a studio - you still have a coffee maker, dorm size fridge and microwave and although we have not stayed in a studio yet - from what I have read on the boards they are much larger than the average hotel room.

Your first trip home will be amazing - you will wonder how you ever went to Disney without being a DVC member - and you are more relaxed less rushed to do and see everything because you have until 2042 to see it all - take time to do nothing!

The above covers how we feel about DVC too. It is wonderful. Your villa will be more amazing than you can imagine. Have a wonderful trip and welcome home!

My DW and I are also new members and have been home just once, but what a feeling. Keep reviewing the boards for any help and questions. I picked up a few pointers before our 1st trip, but I have a lot more to learn and almost 40 years to do it in. So sit back, relax, and Welcome Home !!!!

Glad to have you as a "neighbor" both at the BCVs and here in MI!

You will enjoy the BCVs. We initially bought 270 points there last March. We made our first trip "home" in June and added on an additonal 50 in July! We went back in December and just love it there!

We'll be down again over Easter, in June...then it is off to Vero and OKW in August! Luckily, we have a very good friend we share points with so we can really stretch our vacation time!

Hopefully, we'll run into each other there sometime in the next 4o years!

We also just bought into DVC and took our first trip "home" in December. Already have one planned for February (gotta get away from this nasty cold weather we're having) and another trip in September.

We are down here in Hurricanes territory so I cant honestly say I like your name much. Just kidding!! You will have lots and lots of questions between now and June but these boards are a great place to get them answered.

We are new members and went on our 1st trip home back in Dec to VWL. We loved it!! We had lots and lots of questions and got lots of responses from this board. Have Fun getting ready to go!
