I encourage everyone to update, as it may help VMK. Sometimes my browser has crashed based on a flash error, and I hope with 8.0 it fixes some of the problems reported by players.

Tips: Uncheck the box for Yahoo! Toolbar (unless you want it) and verify the minimum system requirements.

Note: As with anything, I take absolutely no responsibility for any problems you experience as a result of this upgrade and therefore am unable to assist you.

I had to install flash 2 times to get it on both my browsers (IE and Firefox). Do you know where I would install it to get it in firefox again? (When I installed Firefox, it prompted me for flash download and put it in the right place automatically)

in firefox go to plug-ins in the tools or options and it should let you upgrade it from there.

yeah i have had bad experiences here and there upgrading things over the years lol. Not all the time, but the occasional hiccup here and there, not that this will be one.

I have grabbed software updates before as soon as they have come out and been shut out of some sites as they have not made the necessary upgrades on their end yet and i was simply too quick. But these were rinky-dink sites... nothing on the scale of disney. I'm sure that if the upgrade is out there, they have done what they need to do on their end, if anything needed to be done even.

But it is always easier to upgrade then un-upgrade lol. So i'll let these fine folks make sure vmk will still run for them, and then i'll grab the upgrade tonight.

I've installed it on my Mac laptop... no problem getting on VMK with it. Haven't noticed anything new or faster, though. I'll give it a go on the G5 tonight.
