Is there any way to call and order one of these? My wife would like one but we will not be there until July and I am not sure if they will still have them.

I called Disney Merchandise and the lady did verify that they have them at Epcot but she said that they received a very small shipment so she could not sell me one over the phone.

According to the (very rude) lady on Merchandising they're all sold out at Tren D and couldn't get a hold of Mouse Gears on 3 lines, but considering that gets more traffic they're probably all gone. Since I"m not in school any more I'm going to try and keep checking online at 2 am.

Did any of the ladies on this form grab the bag today? If so, congrats! :D

I'd expect a very small group of "shoppers" acquired most of them. :thumbsup2

There will be plenty on eBay soon.

That just disgusts me. :sad1:

Yikes! Over 100% markup!!! The listing says one available and one sold. I have D&B purses, they are my favorite bag now that I can't find Aigner anymore. But for $750, a purse better have special powers for me to buy it!!!

That's a pretty cool purse. Not too flashy. Just right. :) Of course I'm a guy and have no fashion sense according to my Wife. :/

I saw a picture from another board, they are at Mousegears/Epcot, same bag but with purple lining.

I'll scope it out when I get there Monday. I'm going to guess, however, that they will be GONE by the time I get there. The local eBay resellers likely snatched them all up.

I remember when Duffy first "emerged" at WDW, the CM would tell me they would come in a buy dozens of them at a time. :sad2:

I counted 16 of the new purple bags on there right now. Several of them have pictures of the shipping label which suggests there were only 25 bags in the shipment. That's just sickening if over half the bags were purchased by people who were just going to resell them.

On a different note, I mailed my bag back to D&B just 2 weeks ago, to see what they could do about the lining staining everything. I just got a notification that they're shipping a package to me and it will arrive tomorrow! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it'll be a new purple-lined bag!

If someone sees bags in the parks again and merchandise says I can't order one over the phone I'm gonna ask to have a manger explain to me why they want to save the bags for the resellers and not for the people who actually want them? I have to think that these resellers have a connection at the park too, because how would they know to be in the park early today to get them? :(

I'm still flummoxed as to why they can't produce greater numbers. :confused3 Clearly, there's a market for them. As it stands, the only ones benefiting from producing so few are the re-sellers.

It doesn't seem this bags are going to be limited edition so I think everyone should relax and wait. The same thing happened when the first disney d&b bags came out. I honestly think because of the price point if the put too much product out less people would be buying them, they will be waiting since there is no urgency.

First come first serve, and of course a store would always rather sell in person than having to ship. Since it's a limited item, I'm sure that's why there's no phone orders. If it was something just sitting on the shelves and bad plenty in a backroom I'm sure they wouldn't mind and you could order off the phone. Even if they did allow them to be purchased over the phone, resellers could just buy them that way as well.

Same thing when new Jordan's or Nikes come out. You can't order them over the phone.

I'll be in the parks 28th-30th. I'll be on the lookout for these bags and see if they restocked

The thing is though is that these bags technically aren't "Limited Edition" and it was stated many times by Disney officials both online/in stores/on the phone, which is why so many of us are confused about the limited numbers. If you're willing to pay for shipping, they should send them to whoever wants them if there's product available, even if it's only a few. Especially because they aren't labeled as limited edition, I think they should be available to order like all the other park merchandise. That's just my opinion though. :confused3

As far as price, there's a $350 Dooney on the website that they've been selling for like a year, so it surprises me that it would be the price point, but that's really the only thing that makes sense.
