That is just flat out hideous.

Still confused as to where the green came from?? Are they going to release another style with green lining?

If they weren't currently re-releasing the purse with the purple, I could see them throwing something together just to address the bleeding red issues.

But why go through the trouble of re-lining a purse when you have new corrected ones on the market??

When you said a new green lining, I had pictured all of the red gone and completely replaced with the green. That wouldn't have been bad considering, as others have stated, it does match the uniforms of the CMs at the HM. However, the mix of the 2 together is just hideous. Please tell me you're planning to light a fire under someone's butt at D&B.

The picture takes it to a whole new level! What were they trying to go for ? A Christmas purse ? Who will think this is acceptable? I think you not only need d&b to fix this, but let disney know so they choose better partnerships. Disney is so detail oriented I don't think they will be ok with this.

Edit: disney store costumer service can look at attachments I would make sure to include that picture to your complain.

Maybe this is the Haunted Mansion Holiday version. Seriously, what were they thinking? And, where did the green come from, since the new bags have purple? Did they just have some extra green suede they needed to use? I truly hope they make this right for you.

That's just awful. And if their customer service is that shoddy, I don't imagine I'll buy another bag from them. My husband thought it looked completely bizarre. It reminded him of the plant from Little Shop of Horrors.

I know where the green came from. One of my co-workers has a Dooney and Bourke purse (non Disney) and it has a green lining. I've also seen a couple at Macy's with the green lining. Someone in quality control replaced the red lining with their current go to lining without paying attention to the type of bag it was. That is unacceptable. I would try going through Disney Customer service first and send them a picture of what they did to your bag.

And yes- I got one! With my Disney Visa (which just came yesterday!) card and ebates, I saved about $50! (But then tax ate that all up )

I was thinking clearly enough to go through Ebates, but then was in such a panic when it was actually showing IN STOCK that I completely missed the section to put in my Disney Visa 10% off.

But I'm finally getting my bag!!

I'm so glad some people on this board are getting them! I noticed you can only get it through the link-it's not showing up under search or on the Dooney list- so hopefully that will open up some bags for more people on here!

And pixie- maybe you could cancel your order and place another one? Or call Disney tomorrow and see if they apply it- normally they don't but I'd definitely consider this a "special circumstance!" It's gonna be weird not habitually checking the page every 20 minutes or so while doing my homework now

I just came to post that they're available!!! I just ordered too!!! Woke up to use the ladies room & decided to give a look & couldn't believe I was seeing "add to bag" instead of "sold out".


Thought of ordering 2 & selling on Ebay, but just couldn't do it! I also checked the Disney Store's Dooney & Bourke page & it's not on there, just thru the direct link.


Thanks to the posters who said DS usually has the new bags on Mondays & reported the bags were in the parks last week. Those 2 pieces of info are what made me check the computer at 2:40 AM!!!

I missed the free shipping too. I quick glanced at the top of the order page for any shipping offers but didn't see anything. And I sure wasn't gonna navigate away from there for fear I'd lose my order. I did the 3 day express order so should have it by the end of the week. I got 1 of the Main Street Mickey satchels on Sat May 10th before we left WDW. I can't believe I have spent about $800 on 2 purses in 10 days! Thank goodness my DH is an understanding guy!!!


Off to see if I can get back to sleep.....
