What is the going rate to rent one from Disney now days?
An arm and a leg. Only good thing is you will then qualify as disabled for the parks......maybe........What is the going rate to rent one from Disney now days?
On a further note about Kenny and his rentals due to this new policy means that anybody renting now needs to bring the cart in themselves so they can check the insurance policy and issue a new sticker. In the past if they happened to have someone returning a cart the same day you were picking one up they would have the person ending their rental drop the cart at/near your site w the keys. Now with the sticker having an end date means they can't do that any more.
I have used him many times. Included with your cart rental is your ability to use his vehicle and trailer to bring in the cart. As long as you are the person driving it onto the property and unloading it in the overflow area Disney has not had a problem. It's the vendors who bring it right on themselves and do their transactions on Disney property that was causing problems. I'm using him again in September and everything is as it was in the past. I will meet him at whatever location he has chosen, in my vehicle, And then I will leave mine there and drive his truck and trailer to property and back. When it's time to return it I will drive out get his truck and trailer and do it all in reverse. It's a very simple process. He is much cheaper than doing it in the park. I think maybe it's 25 a day roughly cheaper. The price I have is like 360 including tax and everything and I pick it up on a Tuesday and return it the following Wednesday. So I pay for 8 days they don't charge you for the drop off day but you have to do it in the morning. Hope this helpsKenny doesn’t list prices on his site. We won’t have a hitch (rental car, renting a camper) trying to figure out if it would be “worth it” or just use Disney’s cart
That I don't know the answer to yet. I believe someone earlier posted their experience with the new procedure and they did it when you come in and put the sticker on it when you first drive on to property. You're not telling them when you pull in that it's somebody else's cart you're renting. You just say you're dropping off your cart for your reservationThat Kenny price is excellent!
So I assume that after it's unloaded the cart gets driven over to Outpost to show proof of insurance and it then gets 'tagged' under the new procedure?
Let us know how it works out for you. I'm planning on trailering my cart over for the DISmeet in October and parking in the overflow.Any new updates on how this new policy is playing out? We arrive Saturday with our own personal golf cart. Insurance has been purchased and printed out for confirmation.
Agreed! From what I have read (and want hasn't been screamed about), it is going fairly uneventfully.
You show proof of insurance, sign the waiver and get a sticker.
Since there hasn't been a lot mentioned on here or social media, I think it has been going ok.
