New free dining offer yeaaah

Called in around 7:15 am, took about 55 minutes to get a CM--got everything I wanted (Casitas 4 too!)

Really wish they had hold music--was a little nervous that I was stuck in hold limbo for a while (and wasting cell phone minutes )

Thanks for the heads up that this offer was coming up, excellent!

After I was on hold for almost 2 hours, my phone disconnected. I called the other number and was speaking to a CM in 20 minutes. She had to get someone to fix my room only portion for me, because there were no rooms left at POP under that discount. After fixing that, everything was good to go.

September 30th-October 2nd--Room Only at POP
October 2nd-October 6th--Free Dining at POP with 5 day MYW Park Hoppers.

$1407 is my new total. Saved me over $500. That's amazing to me, since its just the two of us. I never realized how much you spend on food.

Thanks Danny for giving us the heads up. As much as I hated getting up early this morning, it will be well worth when I have more spending money. LOL.

I got a garden room at the Poly with free dining. Was on hold about 50 min. Being on hold with no music really threw me off! Thought my call was dropped or I was disconnected, but after hanging up and calling back to be put on hold with no music again, I decided to just wait. I was really on hold after all.

Good luck all! It was easier to get through to change my Dessie than it was to post this. I keep getting server error messages.

I had to call back to get the 10/25 check in date and got through in 8 minutes!

The first time I called the regular line,waited 1 hour 11 minutes, and the CM said the offer didn' start until 10/30. HE WAS WRONG!

When I called back I actually had to walk the CM through the Disney website and show her where I saw that 10/25 was an available date.

I don't understand... I had my reservations for 10/23 already set and so when the FD came I out I could just put it on my existing reservations. Long story short, CM said my dates were blacked out. ummm what? I see other people are getting FD for the same dates?!

I then hung up and jumped online. I saw that my dates were indeed not blacked out and made a whole new reservation with FD for the same exact dates... I'll just cancel my original. But what gives?

Called at 6:00am cst and was on hold for 2 hrs 15 mins. Got free dining for Nov 13-19th upgraded at POP. Since I had booked online through WDW.com my code was RSQ to upgrade at POP. Otherwise if you called in your reservation it was K35 for values to upgrade. Good luck everyone!

I called at 5:59 CST and it took 2.5 hours, but I got free dining! Saved $1300. The CM was very cheerful and helpful and an improvement over the last person I spoke with about 2 weeks ago who said in a kind of annoyed and very firm voice, "No, there are not any discounts available for your trip in Dec. and there will not be any coming, definitely not free dining. That's over."

So Oct. 7 is a blackout date? On the WDW website they have two conflicting dates. They have that the offer IS VALID Oct. 2-8 but then in another spot it says VALID Oct. 2-6.

Good morning, fellow Free Dining Fanatics!

Well, it's bright and early where I am, but I couldn't wait and grabbed my ipod to see if I had something from my TA.

And I did! She made my changes and we have FD for POP! I was a little nervous, I'll admit. I'm a complete control freak and have never used a TA before for WDW.

I first want to thank Danny again for the heads-up! Thank you!

Secondly I want to give a shoutout to my wonderful TA and Dreams Unlimited! How wonderful not to get up at 3am and wait FOREVER to get a CM! I will be using Dreams in the future for all my bookings!

This thead was such fun! I've been here since page one. I need to go back and read 20+ pages to catch up, but I first need to tiptoe downstairs and make myself some coffee.

I hope everyone gets exactly what they wanted...good luck everyone!

Yayyyyyy! Just got an email from my wonderful TA Merrie and we were able to upgrade from Pop to POFQ with free regular dining - 2 rooms October 26th - November 2nd!!!! Thanks Danny for the heads up and time to play with numbers and scenarios. Thanks Merrie for being on hold for 2 and 1/2 hours and getting mine done before I head to work!!!!!

After being on hold for an hour and 20 minutes a CM came on the phone and I told him what I wanted and he said he would be glad to help me... and then he put me on hold!!!

Woo-Hoo! Booked online at Pop Century 12/11 to 12/17 and upgraded to regular DDP. Saved us $500, so I'm a happy camper!

Was on hold 1 hour 25 minutes and got through, had a great CM and got my existing reservation (where we had paid for the DDP) modified to the Free DDP, checking in on 12/2 through 12/10!!

Did anyone else have any issues getting the BC for the week of 10/23? I already had a ressie in the system but was told I couldn't apply the FD as the entire resort with the exeption of the villas there are excluded....hmmmmm
