Hi all,
Well they announced it at 8:45 that they would be running a practice show of the new fireworks Magical. Unfortunately I watched them from Downtown Disney. My three year old was exhausted and I couldn't put him, me, (or anyone else) through the crowds and waiting. So I didn't get to hear the music, see the graphics, or the new dumbo, but some of the new fireworks look cool!

I have been here since Saturday and we are leaving tomorrow.
Astro Orbitor is almost ready to go and looks nice, they added the rocket ships this morning!

Drats that you missed it! Hopefully others saw it and will post. Thanks so much for the info. Hope you and your family had a wonderful vacation.:)

For those of you who want to see it, this person was kind enough to put together a streaming video from his phone:
Add the WWW in front of this. It won't let me post as a link so:

The flying Dumbo is so cute!

Thanks for sharing!

I saw them too, but only heard bits of the music. I was in the hot tub at the Paradise Pier. I told bunches of people that they should stick around for the fireworks but they thought i was nuts. They only knew it didn't say so on the papers for the day... but right at 9.30 ish boom! Saw them great from the hot tub.

That was incredible!!!! Oh my, I can't wait to see it in person. Thank you so much for the person who shared. Wow!!! As usual, disney brought tears to my eyes.....

Is it normal for the majority of the fireworks to be off center? I noticed a large part of them going off to the left of the castle from the position of the person recording who appeared to be standing right on Main St.

I saw them from hojo! They were way back farther than what I remember, maybe it's just me but they seemed farther away?
But still wonderful :)

We were on Main Street for last night's special premiere of 'Magical.' My wife and I loved it. We were standing next to a cast member that told us most of the CMs did not know about the show. At around 7, we heard a CM at an info booth say that no fireworks were scheduled for that evening, but at 9:25 "something magical might happen."

It did. We were particularly struck by 'Baby Mine' from Dumbo and the part from Sleeping Beauty where the fairies argue about "make it pink, make it blue" and the fireworks match the dialogue. We really felt lucky to be there.

We sat on the left side of the hub and the fireworks were mainly on the far left side of the castle so our view was blocked by a huge tree!! We did get to see some of the flare type shot off directly behind the castle and the color changes on the castle itself were nice and worked well with the music and storyline... When we go back in a few weeks, we will definately sit on the right side of the hub!

I LOVED this part!!! Hearing Baby Mine and seeing Dumbo flying was really emotional... I don't know why, but I always cry during the fireworks (I am such a sap, I know)..:sad1: What a magical night!

I'm at school right now so I can't play the audio and I want to hear it when I watch so I'll check it out later.... I can't wait though.

I'm sitting at home planning my annual trip to San Diego, trying to fit in Disneyland. I watched this part and started to cry just now. Good thing I'm home alone, I'd look crazy. Fireworks always make me cry. :sad1:

Thanks! And thanks for posting the link. I loved it! Can't wait to see it in person. :goodvibes
