Can you buy a one day ticket and then upgrade to a 7 ticket later?

Sadly no but there should be. That would be a fantastic AP perk.
Yes, as long as you upgrade on the same day you purchase the one day ticket. So, if you purchase in the morning, you have until the end of that calendar day to upgrade to a seven day pass. Can you buy a one day ticket and then upgrade to a 7 ticket later?
I thought we couldn't use it this way? I thought it had to be consecutive days? You can skip Sunday. You can begin on Saturday and then use it Monday through Friday. That's 6 days of usage.

The Express Pass is good for 7 consecutive days. You can use it as many times as you choose within that 7 day period.I thought we couldn't use it this way? I thought it had to be consecutive days?
They can't do either. You catch the bus inside the park so no way to do that before they open and no way to go to/from the Resorts as there is no security check at the resorts to load a bus.I like the idea of express busses but wish they started before park openings (unless I missed something in the thread). Also wish they had express busses to resorts (on our planned AK day, we have an ADR at Boma for dinner then back to AK for Rivers of Light FP).
Darn. Guess we will take a cab or uber or lyft if available that day. They can't do either. You catch the bus inside the park so no way to do that before they open and no way to go to/from the Resorts as there is no security check at the resorts to load a bus.

We always opt for Uber/Lyft for Resort to Resort transportation. So much easier. And at less than $10 not a budget breakerDarn. Guess we will take a cab or uber or lyft if available that day.
Oh, finally I get it. So it's good for seven days from date of purchase. So we are staying 7 days, but not going to the parks on one of those days. It ends seven days from date of purchase. I get it now. Thanks. The Express Pass is good for 7 consecutive days. You can use it as many times as you choose within that 7 day period.
For you, you will use it on Days 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.
If they could somehow list these times somewhere on the flyer or on the app that would be awesome. From our awesome Express Transportation bus driver
The pick-up/drop-off location at ECOT is near Spaceship Earth. Walking at a leisurely pace, it's about a 15 minute walk to the International Gateway, the exit to head over to the BC. From that point, it's about a 5-6 minute walk to the BC. The walkway from IG to BC has two paths, one a little less taxing than the other. Just after the dock for the Friendship boats, there is a "fork in the road." When you see a small sign that points to take the path to the right, take the path to the left of the sign. The left-hand pathway is mostly flat and level, while the main path on the right, which 95% of walkers follow, goes uphill and then downhill. The left-hand path will join up with the right-hand path right next to the BC.Question about this service. We are staying at BC. and I was wondering if using this service not only saves time, but can this somehow be used to save walking distances? My mom has some issues with longer distances, but is mobile. Case in study.. we are at MK, iso her having to walk all the way to the front and to the buses, she can hop on the express bus by BuZZ I believe and this takes her directly to the entrace at Epcot correct,.? I realize she has that long hike from the FW to BC, but at least ( if Epcot is open later) she has a more enjoyable walk, where she can take some breaks.
for some reason getting out of mainstreet and to the MK buses, seems so exhausting for her. Any other scenarios?? are there other Epcot drop offs?
Darn you and your unassailable logic. They can't do either. You catch the bus inside the park so no way to do that before they open and no way to go to/from the Resorts as there is no security check at the resorts to load a bus.
