We bought the Express pass yesterday and they only accepted credit cards but their iPad did still scan Magicbands because they needed to link the Express to our bands. I assume their app doesn't allow the customer to enter a PIN
Yes, they read MB to see you have the service but they can't process payments with MB

Sorry, I'm lazy and didn't want to read through all 84 pages. I started on page one and then went from 84 to page 82. Seems like the pricing changed?

I will apologize again for any dumb questions, it's been a LONG time since I visited disney last, and it was just two of us. this time it's us and my sister's family. We'll be visiting 10/21-10/27 then we get a few days to ourselves and do Universal.

Anyway:
We will not be staying on resort. Renting a mini-van. So we'll have to pay for parking. We'll be using Park Hopper, although it's too early to know if we'll actually be hopping in the middle of the day or whatnot.

Let's assume we actually hop.
If we wish to punish ourselves (haha) and get back to the car, then drive to another park, do we have to pay for parking again?

Just trying to figure out if the express transportation can save time and/or money.

Thanks!!
You only have to pay for parking 1 time per day
Save your receipts to get in other parks

So, let me get this right....once you purchase the express ticket, you have only 7 days from date of purchase? You can't skip a day, and expect to get a day added to the end? It has to be consecutive days?

Correct on all accounts. It's 7 consecutive days. Not 7 uses, like park tickets.

Does the pass ever 'sell out' if you know what I mean? Will I show up and have them say they've sold all they have for that day? Or it doesn't matter as many people as want it can get it so long as they have the right pass for parkhopping.
Also, planning to head from HS to Epcot as we have a lunch reservation at Tutto Italia about 130ish. What time should we be planning to arrange the journey via express transportation?
I'm interested in knowing too!

If your ADR time is not before 1:30 you could get the 1:00 bus. If it is, you'll want the 12:30 bus. Personally, if it were me I'd get the 12:30 bus anyway, and stop for a drink on the way to Italy

It's possible they have a limited amount sold per day but they have not even begun to approach that number. So far even 1 bus hasn't been full. Usually only a hand full of people on a given bus. I'd say there is nothing to worry about for now

We used the express transportation on Wednesday, starting from Magic Kingdom. crowd level was 8 or 9 for that day, I think?

Anyway, we went to the kiosk by Buzz about 20 minutes before departure. We purchased a day pay with credit card.

We, family of 4, first road to AK, there were 4 other people on the bus.

Next hop, AK to EP, there were 5 other people on the bus besides us. We were running a little late on this hop, and the kiosk folks radioed to the cast member leading the group to the bus to wait for us.

Final hop, from EP to MK, around 5:30ish, we were the only ones on the bus.

Overall, the service is amazing. A very VIP experience, with cast members walking you to and from bus area and chatting with you along the way. Plenty of areas to sit while you wait. Buses, always on time. On such a busy day for Disney, we were able to easily hop 3 times! I highly recommend.

Thank you, this def. changes my plan on how to use it. I was going to start it on a Sat. skip Sunday and use it for my remaining days...guess not.

Wow...it sounds amazing! Thanks for such a detailed report.

The two biggest problems with the service is the high cost for single days and the 7 consecutive day requirement.
Yeah, I don't think they should make it 7 consecutive days...it should just be 7 days during your stay, and allow you to use it 7 times. Skipping the Sunday...would only let me use it for 5 days in a row, but still cheaper than a single day. But I loose a day, because we are skipping the parks that one day.

You can skip Sunday. You can begin on Saturday and then use it Monday through Friday. That's 6 days of usage.

Ive got three days pre cruise and three days post cruise but I would need to separate packages doubling the cost but for only 6 days. With so many empty seats on the busses their going to need to find ways to get more butts on those seats or this won't last.

This is probably been answered but I don't see it on the first post and there's now 85 pages lol...

But do AP's get a discount on the price? I looked on the Disney site but no mention of a reduced price for AP's

Sadly no but there should be. That would be a fantastic AP perk.

Has anyone done a true side by side?
In other words, part of your party does this service and part does the regular bus to see the time difference/savings?
I know if can't be exact based on how things are set up with both but I'm curious if there is a lot of time savings in the drive or more in bypassing security
