The CM was mistaken. It is a special offer of $59 till the end of summer not the end of the year. AP holders for an email about it a month or so back

Guess I missed it. I was here in March, May and now so it would have made sense to do before.

Still a great deal though... I just love the convenience!

Do you think if you were staying at the BC would it save anytime to go to the Epcot express bus location (walking from BC via International gateway) and use it to get to MK or AK? I was thinking it might if your first FP is right near the drop off location.

I wouldn't personally opt it doesn't start till 10:00. We don't usually start that late in the morning

It mostly depends on how your schedule works. If you aren't going to the park till late in the morning it could be ok.

Have you considered maybe doing rope drop for DHS, hit a few non-FP rides, then use the bus to get to AK for those FPs? We are planning something like this for one day. The drop off at AK is a big advantage with some of the big rides .

Isn't the Express bus point at Epcot up by Spaceship Earth? You would still need to go through security at the International Gateway and walk to the front of the park and then wait for bus. The drop off is by the safari in AK and Tomorrowland in MK.

Oh, I understand that but I'm bringing preteens and they don't get up early by choice. Around 10 would be the time we are headed out. We ride a few things use our FPs and then head back to resort until evening. Late nights might be the problem.

We might do that once or twice. In general we are not rope drop people. It does make it more convenient if you are already in the park though or have a purpose other than walking through.

Sadly not too many late nights this summer. No evening EMH for Hollywood and MK closing at 10pm. AK only offers Pandora...Otherwise, I would have seriously considered for this trip.

I have been wondering if anyone has tried taking the express bus to MK from another park then getting on the boat or monorail to the Poly. I believe someone said it would be quicker to just take the regular bus back to the resort. Maybe someone who has done it can answer.
One ride is almost always faster than two. If you did opt for the Express for this, the ferry is likely a better connection option.
We did this to get to WL in April. No idea if it was faster. No way to know for certain either. But sure felt faster
Too late for you, but a party could split up and meet at the destination.
That is good to know. So how can we get back to MK during EMH?
Regular park to park bus, or monorail/monorail if starting at Epcot
I'm hoping the boat to Poly won't be as bad, but the boat is small and don't hold as many people as the larger one, so who knows.
Ferry. Take the big ferry directly to the TTC. It holds a lot more guests each trip than the small resort launch.

Yes the hours stink this year. We like going at night because of the hot temps. Having only Pandora open for night EMH is not going to be very good for crowds.

So, how long is HEA that you had time to get to the 9:30 Express Bus afterwards?

My party was me and DH so not interested in doing that really.

Besides it could be faster 1 time but not the next since the real question mark in the equation is how long you'd have to wait for the regular bus or monorail to run. Might be no minutes 1 time or 20 minutes next might. All least you know what time the express bus will run and can plan accordingly

I was going to get this anyway but now it looks like my fort chance to use it will be to hop over to HS and ride GMR one last time on 8/13

That is usually my plan. I take the FriendShip boat to DHS, spend a little time there, and then catch the Express bus. The Express location at DHS is not that far into the park, and the AK drop-off is minutes from Festival of the Lion King and the Safari.
