How many annual passes can I purchase? Is there a limit? They are $484 correct?

You saw the "fine print" on the offer page, right?

*You must present your Disney Vacation Club Member ID Card and ALL ADULTS must present a valid driver's license or state identification card showing they reside in the same household to purchase or redeem these offers. Limit of 8 of each of these passes/passports per household. Passes and Passports purchased on this offer must be activated by January 31, 2015. These special prices are subject to change or termination without notice. Restrictions may apply.

Just want to make sure I understand - this is our first PAP. We are going 12/28/14. We can buy it now, activate it 12/28/14, and it will be good until 12/28/15.

Correct?

If that is right I can squeeze three trips out of one pass.

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Correct.

When I logged in to DVC last night and went to MDE for our May trip, it said that you could purchase up to six tickets and made it sound as if the person picking them up at WDW had to show their ID and DVC card but that the others didn't have to be present. Is this info correct, or does everyone who is getting a ticket need to be present when picking up? This is the first time we are considering getting the annual pass, so it is new territory for me. TIA. :)

All persons need to be present and all adults (ages 18 +) need to show a photo id with the same address as on the membership. The member also needs to show their DVC Member ID card.

Ok. Thanks for the clarification. :)

Erionm is a very wise DIS member, and his posts are almost always correct. However, the last time this pass offer was made, my wife and I bought DVC PAP vouchers at the ticket window for our family of five, when just the two of us were down for a conference trip.

So I would differ with his statement from personal experience, and state "everyone must be present, and adults must each have their DVC card, to activate the vouchers, but not everyone must be present to purchase the vouchers." The purchasing family member of course needs their ID when they purchase...

Hope this helps.

Everyone needs to be present when you trade in the voucher for the actual ticket. You can buy vouchers on the website.

I just purchased points but don't have a number yet. Is there any fine print on dependent college kids?

As long as they are still considered resident to your house (have that on their ID as their address) then you are OK

We were at WDW in Jan. I renewed 3 out of 4 passes while I was there. My oldest DS is 18 and in college (driver license has my home address, still a dependent). They would not renew his pass without him being present. Once I got home, I called and they renewed the pass but with a temporary #(for lack of a better term). I can use the # to setup FP+, etc but he has to go to the ticket window to activate the pass before entering the park.

Now, direct purchases for NEW PAP might be different when calling and purchasing over the phone. But renewals gave me three passes and one temp. I will call in the next few days to get the renewals converted to new PAP. I can save a few bucks plus push my anniversary date backs about 3 months.

Always ask for a manager if any issues arise. The rules change so managers usually have the experience to figure out the best route.

I have never heard of Disney agreeing to do the "upgrade" over the phone. good luck!

Am thinking of getting passes for our trip in May. Will we be able to link our vouchers to MDE and schedule fast pass plus at 60 days or will we have to wait until arrival when we actually exchange for our AP's? Thanks for your help, and sorry if this has been covered elsewhere. So many threads and all this is so confusing, I think we are really going to miss the old FP system.

Yes, you will be able to link the will call confirmation number to MDE and that will allow the selection of FP+ times once you are 60 days from check-in.

You will still need to visit a park ticket window or guest relations location at WDW to exchange for the actual pass(es). Your year on the pass will begin when you exchange for the actual pass.

I purchased my premium annual passes less than 2 weeks ago. Will not visit WDW until the summer. I really wish I waited to make this purchase! Does anyone know if I might be able to receive a credit due to the price difference?

I would call and ask. Last time I think some people were able to get refunds and then they could re-purchase.

I don't think she'll qualify then--but she's still a household resident and a dependent in my book since I pay her rent!
