Thanks for the link. I don't read the blog as often as I would like. I love the idea of new DVC merchandise. We were there in November and they definately had added new items, but this is even more stuff to choose from. That is very cool.

Saw it in person when we were there a few weeks ago.

We pretty much stopped buying clothes, as Disney's quality is crap, but I couldn't resist the Old Key West shirt. Very cute!!

It was nice to see some new stuff for a change.

I liked the key pin. the key to 500 kingdoms. Need to have it. My daughter and I are dorky pin collectors. Nothing crazy, just pins we see that we like. It's something we share. We usually buy a bunch on Ebay before our trips to trade with CM when we see pins she likes.

I wish they would make a metal license plate frame. The plastic ones fade and look like crap in just a few months. I like the designs though.

Okay, I really LOVE the "four new merchandise logos" shown at the bottom of the blog. Oddly, I really enjoy collecting "stuff" from my home resort (SSR) even if I rarely visit the property.

Must be race-horse theme ... I can't stay away from the ponies. (Is collecting race-horse stuff as dangerous as gambling on them? Hmmm ...)

I'm definitely excited about the merchandise. When we were at blt last year the choices were just meh. Nothing jumping out at us. I can't wait to get to hhi in may and blt in September!

I don't really like the new logo thing with Mickey and the big key either. I did buy a DVC travel mug and a few luggage tags at Beach Club last week when we saw them - I was excited that they had anything at all. But I didn't like the logo enough to buy a car magnet, which I have been looking for. It looks kind of cheap/cheesy to me - or not classy is perhaps a better way to describe it. I'm glad some people seem to like it, but I just didn't.

I AGREE!! I thought we were the only ones wanting this too! My husband was in an accident and while he survived, our metal DVC license plate did not and is all crunched up. We live in a state which only required the back plate, so we love having the front one as a Disney one. I'm guessing I'm also the only person here who does not like the new DVC logo as much as the old one. I was in WDW a week ago and saw the new stuff and was not overly impressed, but I was impressed that the old logo stuff was 75% off off (plus the AP discont of 10%), so did managed to buy my granddaughters "future DVC" tee shirts for $4.50 and picked up a couple of adult Tee shirts for $6 -- all old logo stuff. Not much stuff left though as we made our rounds to all of the DVC locations to check.

While in WDW last week, many of the kiosks in the parks are in the process of changing the old logo signs to the new logo signs. I kept thinking, "am I paying for that?" I hope not, since we (the members) didn't get a choice of choosing that new boring logo.

But I do have to say that all of the "gifts" given out at WhW were all "old" logo merchandise....of course I didn't win as I've never won anything at WhW (we were staying at the BWV, so didn't have to make too much of an effort -- I just filled my Disney mug up with a fresh margarita and went in the hopes of winning from "free" stuff. Just got a hat like the rest.)
