Bumping this old thread.

I saw this on Facebook. But not sure where on the Disney site you can actually buy this. Maybe you need to have tickets purchased or an AP? I didn't see it on the regular Disney store page.

Yeah, I think you have to have park tickets or a stay booked in order to get it. We aren't heading back to WDW until January 2027 so not booked yet.

We have 2 Disneyland trips booked but I don't think that counts.

You just have to have a resort reservation booked at WDW. We have ordered before with just a DVC stay. DLR stay don’t count.

Realizing this sounds crazy and probably not worth it just to preorder a Magic Band

Maybe? I don't need it though. I still have a MB that I haven't even worn yet so I'm not going to purchase another one at this time.

It is a cute one though. I think I like the old green DVC one a bit better. Before our next WDW trip, maybe there will even be another one released.

I just saw the green DVC band at the Fantasia ship at DLH. Maybe the new band will be here at the shops later when you come.

I just bought the new DVC one with the discount the day it was released; I don’t think I’d buy another at all without a discount though. I thought it was overpriced even with the discount!

Same. Excited to get a discounted one but we have plenty so the discount is a deal breaker for us. I know we will never know but makes me wonder how many people will no longer buy it now without the discount.

I probably wouldn’t have even bought an extra except last time I missed some photos on Tron, and I think it was because of my magic band. I suspect this will be my last one, as maybe tech will change?
