NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

Darn, neither of my Chase cards have that.
A lot of the Chase offers people send here I never get either! Probably "random" upon each cardholder or something.

This is also the first time I've ever seen a Sam's Club offer. I've seen a couple gas related offers, but never one for the actual store like this.

I have the Chase offer and I activated it, but when I go to Sam's (thru the Chase "go to website link) and try to check out, it doesn't give me the 5% off. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm a new Chase cc owner, where do you see the "offers"?
If a Chase account is BRAND new you won't see many offers. You need to start spending and using the card for the offers to generate.

You don't get a coupon by clicking through the link and save the money immediately. You activate the offer with Chase, spend by the date in the offer and follow the terms (transaction limits, spend limits, etc) and then Chase credits you the amount days/weeks later on your statement.

Slightly off topic and wrong thread but what do you think of the new refresh with higher fee? You going to re-up?
UGH I am torn. My renewal isn't until 2026. I will probably keep the "new" version for a year and reevaluate. I have a bunch of URs I would still like to cash out via Pay Yourself Back so I need some time to do that.

The travel insurance, especially for rental cars is still unmatched. I will enjoy the Apple TV credit, but I wouldn't normally just pay for that monthly so IDK that it's "saving" me money vs helping justify the annual fee. I don't like losing 3x on ALL travel, 2 night minimum stays for the hotel credit, or select dining establishments for the dining credit.

I am sure we'll learn more ways to maximize the credits as people use it. I always liked how easy it was the cover the cost of the CSR based on what I got. It's getting harder to justify. I also need to see what Amex does to the Platinum card to see if it's actually better or not (PLEASE get rid of Saks 🤣).

I also think the new CSR "bonus" is laughable considering it's the same number of URs the CSP had a few months ago.

What do you think about the new card?

We had CSP - just came up for renewal in the last two weeks - given that card's UR points are going to undergo the same reconfigure/devalue in October, and at the suggestion given on this board, we swapped out to the no fee Freedom Flex for a second 5% quarterly cashback card (besides Discover). Honestly, CSP was our third travel redemptions card, and I am finding it more and more labor intensive to find a "good" way to use our hotel credit and UR through the portal when we most often stay at either Disney or Universal branded hotels. Even our stay this year at the Swan will be in a 1 BR suite, which are not available for booking on the portal, and wouldn't be offered anyway at a rate anywhere near as competitive at our AP rate. :smickey:

No you are not doing anything wrong.
Chase Offers are basically rebates.
Purchase xx amount and then you will receive a credit on your card later on. Sometimes it appears fast others like for SW I have had to wait about two weeks for them to post.
Also you do not have to click through from Chase. You can use your favorite shopping portal or just go to the site directly and it should credit.

I have to think the Amex Platinum reboot is going to go CRAZY with its annual fee. Some are predicting $1000 a year. As with all of us here I am heartily committed to using my CC benefits, offers, perks and bonuses, but I just cannot see where I could hope to recoup that. Really the same with $795 on CSR. Whew!

I have used two in the last two weeks, and they took about 1 week to post. One of my offers redeemed incorrectly, and they told me I had to wait 14 business days from the day the transaction POSTED to request an escalation/correction. So I interpret that to be the ultimate window to see them post - up to 14 business days. After that, if you still haven't seen it post, you can call Chase if need be and they will process an escalation.

And @eticketplease has a good point - these offers are based on how the transaction reads at posting (i.e. the merchant) and so you don't have to mess with clicking through a specific Chase portal or tracking site. As long as that transaction posts with the correct merchant coded to the offer, you should see it come through. A caveat is for offers like a couple we have mentioned here - where you want to buy a gift card through, say, OfficeMax.com, but then to do so you are forwarded to a third party GC site. That would probably not code as the correct merchant for the offer, and I would be wary of buying GCs that way - in-store, as other have noted, should work.

Just checked my Chase offers and saw a Sam's Club offer for 5% off up to $12 maximum.
And it expires on 6/30. Online only.
Never seen an offer appear and expire so soon.

I ordered two $200 DGC's for $190 each.
Thus, $380 - $12 = 8% savings.
And also the points I earn with my Disa Visa that I can redeem later on.

If you do one of them, it will be $9.50 back so it is a bit higher percent saved

I was able to get 10% back on the Office Depot/ Office max, now just trying to find one that has them in stock

The CSR is probably the only Premium card I never had! But I did just dump my Plat and Business Plat after a long time and am sort of seeing which way the wind is blowing as you mentioned. I'm tempted to have P2 refer me the CSR and try it out but I also love the AMEX MR ecosystem I'm willing to wait a bit. Not sure which way to go but I keep putting spend on my pre existing cards and it's killing me that none of it is going towards a SUB right now! I don't want to just jump on anything right now that I may regret later.
