New code watch - October/November

Hi can someone help me. I'm looking for rates in Oct. I got my AP voucher but can't seem to get it to work. I know on some post before they had a generic code to enter to get into the site. Thanks of any help. Carol

Just an FYI, there is nothing past Oct 4th for AP rates except the best rate program. You aren't eligible for the best rate at this point as you are within the 120 day window. Its sometime around December 10th arrival or after to book best rate now.

Thank you. I had enter just 7 for month instead of 07 and now it works. Guess there are no AP rates past Oct 4. As you can tell I am new to this. I am booked at OKW but want to add a few more days on and was hoping for a good rate, so I wouldn;t have to stay off and rent a car too. Thanks again, everyone is so helpful. Carol :earsgirl:

Keep watching these boards. There is a possibility (however slight) that AP rates might be released in the next several weeks. No one knows for sure, but we're all waiting anxiously! If they're released, you'll want to call CRO as soon as possible because whatever's available is sure to go fast!! Good luck!

Hi, Jeanie! Jersey week!! Unfortunately, no. Tori only gets 2 days off in October; no teacher conventions in Georgia; just teacher "workdays". We won't be able to get down there until the week before Christmas. (Well, I'm going in October for F&WF, but that's a (grown-up) ladies only trip!!!)

Tell Jylian "Tori says HI!" Maybe we'll see your family again in 2006!!

I'm subscribing as well. I'vew laready reserved with the "best rates", but I want to see if I really do get the best rate!

My Best Rate itinerary is unavailable this morning. I could get to it late last night. I am taking that as a sign *hopefully* that they are updating the rate. I'll continue to post here and let you know whether it did or not.

BTW, I am able to log in to "My Vacation" and able to see the dates, how many days until the vacation, my new message, but it is the actual "invoice" page that is unavailable. That's why my hopes are up.

I called today and was on hold for 35 minutes - no Fl resident rates yet. I really want the Poly for Oct 8th - its my 11 year anniversary and I'm giving my husband a trip to Hawaii - I really wanted to surprise him. Come on rates!!!! :Pinkbounc

Hi All,

I am booked for Best Rate Program for POFQ Nov 30- Dec 7 ($733.74). Does anyone think it would go lower? This program has me so confused  Do I still need to call when AP codes are released?

That's a really good question! There's been lots of discussion on these boards regarding the "Best Rate" and at this point, I don't think anyone knows for sure. :confused3

It is supposed to be the *Best Rate* so many of us doubt a lower rate would come out, but if a lower rate does - some have said we would automatically have the lower rate applied, but many think not! What I'd do is keep watching and *IF* AP's do come out for your time frame and they are lower than your Best Rate, call and see if they will adjust the Best Rate. It's always worth a phone call or 2; you may get lucky! :goodvibes

sorry, i am confused what is the best rate program? :confused3

*Best Rate* is a new program for Annual Passholders. Rooms at this special (best?) rate can only be booked online, 120 days or MORE from your travel date, non-refundable deposit of one night's stay required at time of booking. If you have a valid AP # or AP voucher #, go to www.disneyworld.com enter the Passholders Site, then "Special Offers". From there, you can put in your dates, select your resort and it'll give you Best Rates. (Make sure you know rack rates for your dates to make sure you are being offered a Best Rate.)

I'm sure I didn't confuse you too badly  !!!

Joining the watch - waiting for AP rates for 10/14 & 10/15. Hope to see them soon!

That isn't a bad rate if it is with tax. It comes out to $104.76 a night with tax or about $92 a night without tax (I figured tax at 11.5 but that may be a little high or low --can't remember) On limited times we have gotten a room at POFQ for $79 a night but tyipcally it is about $89 a night during non-peak time. I'm not sure you will see a much lower rate come out. But always look. Disney has been very unclear about whether they will apply lower rates to the best rate program reservation. Many of us are still waiting for responses to questions. But, it sounds like you got a pretty good rate for POFQ. We love this resort and are there at least twice a year.
