I emailed my AAA agent today and asked her a few questions about the free dining plan. She wrote back to me.....

I've checked with Disney about the free dining. This is what they have done in the past, and may do it the same way if it is extended. If it is, they will rebook the reservation, and apply the free meals. Yes, you could still get the AAA discount. I'll keep an eye on it, but if you see it first, please let me know and I'll call immediately.

We picked the Oct 11 time for the MNSSHP so the kids and the adults could enjoy candy...If you know what I mean. We are at the Pop. We decided that fit all of the families different personalities. When I talked to our Grand Gathering advisor he said early October should not be too busy. But I wonder our State is on Fall Break. This date also aloud us to leave the rest of the week free to do what ever the families want. Twelve of us makes planning a bit difficult.
I am watching mousesavers and my husbands forums for the AP rates...The dining would be great too. It sure would help some of the family members on a budget such as myself.
By the way I will be Merryweather at the MNSSHP. (From Sleeping Beauty) My siter is Flora and My Mom is Fauna. We will definatly be a unique group. Are you dressing up for the event??

DDs will probably dress up- DD2 in one of her many princess costumes, DD12 as a "cool Goth witch" or similar, and I'll probably just throw on a set of Mickey ears and matching tee shirt. DH will go as himself, and he'll probably get us a set of the MNSSHP t's, and put his on right away. I would love to go as a hostess from the HM instead, so I'll see if I can find a lightweight green skirt set and white apron. I'm can't sew, otherwise I'd make it myself!

I have 2 ressies right now through AAA... one at POR and one at WL for October 16-22. The AAA discount is not much but better than nuttin'. If we don't get AP codes I'll have to cancel WL and go with POR, cuz I'm a cheapskate! DH and I stayed at POFQ in January and absolutely loved it. I really want to stay at WL though. I guess we have a couple of weeks to go yet to see IF we will get new AP codes. I looked at the BRP for a short trip in January and nothing was available for any of the dates I was interested in. I think that program STINKS!

Just checked with CRO and they're telling no new rates released yet... oh please, please, please let's have some new rates.

I am so running out of patience. When oh when are the late fall and early winter codes coming?!?! UGH!

I am thinking that IF codes do come out there won't be that many for the deluxes as many of them are already sold out for when our trip is planned in November (CR, BW, BC, YC). I also think the people who are hoping for free dining might be out of luck for November. I am waiting with everyone, but can't hold out much longer! That AAA package at a mod with dining is sounding better & better.

I don't expect to see anything until the current promo expires, which I believe is Aug 20th. Very end of August/beginning of September would be my guess.

Guessing maybe Aug. 23 this year? Its on a Tuesday and usually they come out on Tuesday.

I'm not being picky or anything but the current promo goes until Oct 4...I'm going Oct 5- 22...that's why some of us are so hyper about the codes being released. But pooh & cobbler and yourself are right historical the rates are released around Aug 25...just for once I hope it's THIS TUESDAY 16th, today verses next week. If the deals good I'll site on site longer!

Hi can someone help me. I'm looking for rates in Oct. I got my AP voucher but can't seem to get it to work. I know on some post before they had a generic code to enter to get into the site. Thanks of any help. Carol
