That is amazing! I wish I had half that much talent. I would clearcoat is as someone suggested. It looks too amazing to lose.

Pastels tend to last longer than chalk so the drawing survived 2 good downpours before mostly washing away in tonight's storms. That's okay - it just means we get to pick my husband's next chalk-art project. Depending on how detailed he gets his big pictures take about 4 hours to do. I think my kids have Tinkerbell & the fairies lined up for his next project.

Hey, don't tempt him! He did a Penguins logo in our driveway, a neighbor saw it and requested one in his and now he has semi-permament (done with paint - at neighbors request) Penguins & Steelers logos in his driveway. I'm sure his wife and neighbors are thrilled.

These are from a chalk art festival at Pittsburgh's South Side Works earlier this summer. Erik ended up taking first prize in this one (there were only ten competing, but still - yea!).
