New Candlelight narrators just announced

Ugghh. I'll be cancelling my CP package. We'll just wait in the standby line instead. We were only doing the package because we knew how popular Jim C. would be and thought that the standby line would be nuts and I really wanted to see him. We're at WDW for 10 days so the standby line will work for us now.

The website has obviously not been updated! I was given this information by Disney and it has been confirmed by several others who has posted on the DIS.

We'll be there that night, but I wasn't planning on going to the CP. Can someone tell me more about it? Is this something that young children would sit for?

It is a concert/reading that is held in EPCOT at the outdoor theatre in the American pavilion. And no, I don't think it's something that young children would sit for. It's a narrator reading the Christmas story interspersed with songs sung by a choir. Just not very much to hold their attention.

It's all about expectations. When you've done all your planning and things change, sometimes it is hard to accept. I was hemming and hawing to begin with but now I'm coming to accept the change. Since I've found out from a great friend that Jaci Velasquez is a wonderful singer, it makes accepting the change a little easier.

I will be at the 6:45 performance on December 9th. Anyone else coming on that date?

We'll be there at the same time. We'll be eating dinner at Alfredos at 4:30pm and then seeing Jaci V. at 6:45pm. I was really disappointed that we'll be missing Jim Cavaziel, but my son says Jaci should be very good.
