New batch of questions

Ok....you need to relax and take a deep breath...maybe a few of them!!! You're stressing about stuff that may never happen. I fly at this time of year...Orlando to Mass.....all the time. Only one time have I had an issue due to weather. and it was only because a snowplow hit something on the runway, which made it impossible for our flight to land. Ours was the only flight that was impacted. We had to find a room for that night...which was no issue.

You need to talk to whomever is making your travel plans and get them written down on paper. Not being sure of what the plans are is the best way to add stress to your life. Once you can see it all, on paper, you'll feel better. Then, if you have further questions, you can ask us. It's just hard to give good advice if you aren't sure what the info actually is!!!

Just got my ticket via email last night and it's says I go from American eager to American eage is that its sister airline

Allowing for typos, it sounds like you're going from American Eagle to American Eagle. That would be the same airline.

However, American and American Eagle would be the same airline also. "Eagle" is just the short haul side of American.

Tink, I know it's been mentioned before in the past, but you should really read over your posts before clicking 'Post'. People are generally willing to help you, but if they don't understand your posts, it's kind of hard.

I am sorry it is American Airlines and American Eagle

But from my understanding American eagal is the same thing just for shorter flights ?

So I got the email from dad I am on American Airlines not a happy camper, but from my research I won't notice much of a differences from delta that is that is who I normaly fly

By the way sorry about all of my earlier post but I need to type and not think when my anxiety is higher

I think we will be okay my job is very flexable and the rest of my family that is flying no longer workes

So that's great!

DH flies any airline that has the best combo of prices and flights, he travels half the year for work. While he still has ONLY had luggage issues on Delta, overall they are all the same, basically. American got him between Dallas and Seattle roundtrip during ice storms and it was all as pleasant as possible. Don't worry about American so much, IMO. :)

AA is going to be just fine!!! There really isn't a huge difference between airlines. Me? I refuse to fly Delta....some of the most awful customer service I've seen and they change flights all the time!!! And the planes are not very comfortable.....but then again, not many are these days.

Flying from DfW to Durango CO on American Airlines

1 will I noticed movement I only ask because I hate heights

2 well they allow electronics once we get to cruising altitude

What do you mean, will you notice movement? You've flown before, what kind of movement are you referring to?

Didn't you have a thread going before your last flight where you asked about in flight electronics? Perhaps you could check your posting history to read up on the responses you got then.

Small planes can be more "bouncy," but nothing out of the ordinary flying experience.

Small electronics are allowed in airplane mode all the time. Large electronics are allowed when you're above 10,000 feet. There will be a little chime and they'll announce it over the speakers.

Yes but my dad was going on and on about how small this plane is I don't think I have been on one this small

Thanks dad, LOL.

I was on a small propeller plane from Seattle to Vancouver WA, and even though I don't like the *idea* of them, it was absolutely fine both times. I've also been on a prop plane going from DC to Charleston WV, and while I don't recommend that route for you, ultimately it was totally fine.

Once on a (big) plane a flight attendant noticed I was nervous (I've been flying as an adult since 1987 but on that flight I got super nervous) and he took the time to really talk to me about flying. It was lovely of him to do, and I appreciated him. It was during a time when he didn't have other duties; they don't always have the time to help out like that, but don't be afraid to mention that you're nervous, just in case they do have a little time for a handpat.

According to seat guru, your flight isn't going to be on a little prop plane, but one one of the Embraer regional jets. Yes, it might be smaller than the 737s you may have flown on before. But it's not tiny. You will find it noisier than larger planes, and it may feel a bit more bouncy. But that has more to do with flying over the mountains. It's perfectly safe. Just different from what you're used to.

Be aware, on a regional jet, you'll only be able to take a purse and backpack size bag on the plane. If you have a larger carry-on bag, they'll take it as you board the plan and give it back as you're getting off the plane.

That is not a problem I am checking my luggage thanks for the heads up but you are sure backpacks are allowed cause that is what I need for my carry on

Just got back on Monday every think went okay experts leaving my home town I had to switch airlines

But no big deal just got to Durango a hour Later then planed
