New batch of questions

I am flying delta
Where are you going?!?! Delta doesn't fly from DFW to Orlando (MCO), at least not direct.

At DFW, Delta operates out of terminal E, so you won't have to change terminals. But they don't have as many daily flights, is a cancellation could leave you stranded for a few days. That seems unlikely in early December.
At ATL, you'll probably have to change terminals, which can take 20+ minutes. But there are plenty of additional flights so they can move planes around if something gets cancelled.

True but what about over night delays you can't tell me you have never spent the night in s airport

I have never spent the night in an airport. DH, who travels half the year internationally for work, has but that was a scheduled layover in Germany and he was too cheap to get himself a room at the hotel right there. But it was scheduled. Not a delay.

And even if I did, there are bathrooms at airports and they have soap.

CO and the King of changing his mind aka dad chaged the date to December 1st or2ed

Before eating and after bathroom use given if I touch soap I break out

Aha. Sanitizer is killing (some) germs. It's not cleaning your hands. Bring the soap you can use! Worry about soap not sanitizer. No don't worry. Just bring it. If it's liquid soap, buy some empty 100 milliliter (same as 3.4 ounces) containers and pour the soap into a few of those. Unless you're bringing many other non-medical liquids it will be fine in your 311 baggie. If your dad doesn't bring many liquids he could carry some of the 100 ml containers of soap too. Soap is better than sanitizer.

Does your dad know what he's doing with travel? Are you worried because it's your nature or because he doesn't know what he's doing? Is this travel for this year?

I can find soap bars for sensitive skin

Oh you answered that already! Get a bunch of those, toss them in your carryon and you're good to go! Bring a small ziptop Baggie to put the wet soap in and you'll be clean and non blistered and happy. A bar of soap doesn't even have to go in your 311 baggie.

Has any one flown wearing a device they can't turn off mine is a knock off of a fibit to be exact I wish I knew how to turn it off during take off and landing but I don't

Not something to worry about. It's not transmitting to anything. Not an issue. While on the flight see how many flight attendants are wearing activity monitors! On my last couple flights all of them were!

Dec 4 Mco DfW co
Tink. There are people who would be happy to help you. But we can't unless you give us accurate information. What is co? It is not an airport abbreviation, nor is it an abbreviation for a city that I have ever heard of of. And what airline are you really booked on? DFW has 5 different terminals. Without knowing the airline you are actually booked on, no one can tell you what your connection will involve.

Please take the time to give the correct information, and we'll try to help you.

Can you provide the full details about your plans? I'm not even sure what you're worried about anymore. And it's starting to sound like you don't have any control of or input on the arrangements, so worrying about anything ahead of time is pointless. With full details, we could provide some strategies in case something goes wrong, but it doesn't sound like we'll be able to influence your arrangements.

You are right about one thing worrying about what is happening two weeks from now is pointless but I got some great info in this thread

This - please! I fly often as do many others here on this thread and we can help you.

If you care to - re-post the details on your flight(s) and what you are apprehensive about and I am sure you will get answers that will help you plan/prepare for your flight.

I well when I get them

Part of what we're wondering is what is "co"? Is it Colorado like Sam just asked? Are you flying Colorado to Orlando? If so, that's a reason why you might be worried about storms, that's for sure! My cousin in Colorado Springs just got a heck of a storm with some 30 inch drifts!

So this travel is for THIS year? And dad is still changing his mind about things? That's definitely last minute. Are you guys actually booked? If you're booked, what is there left to worry about?

What there is time for is *planning*. Plan for what happens if a storm pops up. Can you get off work the day before? Check with the airline and the airport to see if they are allowing FREE changes so you can get out early. Get to the airport hours earlier than you would have otherwise, and try to get on flights earlier, to keep from getting stuck. etc. Planning, not worry, is what is important now.

Co is Colorado we are booked for this year I think we will be okay my job is very flexable and the rest of my family that is flying no longer workes

Sorry I answered the best I could if I left anything out please let me know
