New AP discounts starting Febr 6th, 2014 - limited time

Several times this evening I tried to log in to the Member website, and it was down. So far down, that I was being told it either didn't exist, or was unavailable. Well, I just tried again, and there was a whole new look. Plus it talked about 3 new AP discounts, new member travel offers, and more. Unfortunately, it kept kicking me out when I tried to find out more info.

The 3 new AP discounts were WDW Premier, Disneyland, and the combo WDW & DLR. I couldn't find any prices though, because it kicked me out.

One of the new member travel offers was for San Francisco & Napa. Again, I tried to get more info, and it kicked me out.

I'm hoping that prices on the AP's will be available tomorrow, and we won't have to wait until Febr 6th to find out. Very excited to read what this all means.

We are literally on the bus to SSR right now and purchased our AP's two days ago.... Whatever this deal is I hope they honor it for passes just purchased and about to be used....

As I said, it kicked me out, so I couldn't get a lot of info. However, I do remember reading something about people who currently have AP's being able to purchase a new one by April 30, 2014 and have until sometime in January, 2015 to renew them.....or something like that.

Since they won't start selling these new AP's until Febr 6th, I don't know what they can, or will, do for you now. Sorry.

When I spoke with MS earlier this week, I was told that the website was going to be listing the new perks today, specifically AP discounts. Will keep watching throughout the day! Fingers crossed!!

The AP prices on the website are the same as the FL resident prices. Am I missing something?

I wonder what happen to the new website. It had all kind of changes, it even said that members would be able to book new exclusive experiences and stay at AoA. I hope it updates again today.

I hope even if buying it is for a limited time, that they give you a while to activate it again. We did the last deal and would love another!!

Hopefully it all becomes clear today! We bought passes early in January for MH and I. But we do still need one for my4.5 yr old. And if it has something for Disneyland, all the better! We are thinking of DL 2015 trip for a runDisney event!

Oddly enough, our PAPs expired Jan 5 meaning we have until Feb 5 to renew. These things start selling Feb 6......I hope the new deal is worth waiting for.

We have AP's that expire in August (got 2 trips off of them but no plans for a 3rd trip). Our next trip is this August to DL and Aulani - I was dreading having to pay for a few days of park hoppers there - hoping there is a decent discount on the 2-coast pass. THAT would be reallllly helpful. Anxious to see what comes out.

I saw the website while on the bus at 1am but only for a minute. It looked totally different. It said this was going to be the resource area to learn all about perks and such for members since the #1 most requested item is discounted tickets, there were three different kinds, one was the premium, one was a combo with WDW/DL and the third I did not see since my connection was dropped (I was really tired) I think I will cancel the AP's that I bought the other day and just get what we need for this trip and then take advantage of this new deal.

Last night, when I finally got the website to come up, it wasn't the regular log-in page, but something about "Magical"...maybe Magical Member News. ?? It was on this page that all of the new stuff was listed. It gave some info about several new things, including the 3 AP's that would be discounted from Febr 6th to April 30th. I believe they needed to be activated no later than a date in Jan of 2015.

When I clicked on "more" it took me to a log-in box, but after I logged in, the page was blank. When I went back, I no longer had the "Magical" page, but was instead in the regular member website, and these new offers were no where in sight.

The suspense is killing me too and my trip isn't until December. Though I'm thinking about adding a F&W trip. I cleared my cookies and logged into the website and now the pass information under perks & discounts / tickets & tours is gone. Hopefully it'll be updated soon! I was hoping to do the Tinkebell race in 2015 so a discount on the WDW/DL passport would be awesome!

Yep, just checked the member site, and there aren't any AP's listed at all. IT must be working on it, and hopefully the info will be in there today. Can't wait to find out what the prices are going to be.

"Chat" has a canned answer ready to "keep an eye out on the site for any changes" etc. and that I could purchase it through Member Services at the current price of $494.16.

The "current price" part seemed out of place as if the price was changing but they can't say.
