Floridacat - If I were coming through Wilmington, I would definitely pick them up. No word on the interview, but it usually takes a few days anyway. I don't look for an answer until I return, but it won't ruin my trip either way. Thanks!!

Hope I don't sound too ignorant, but what is the story on the ears from Home Depot?

HD has a Disney paint center with MM shaped paint samples. Pick the lime green to show you are a DISer.
I put my home state on one ear, FL, DIS on the other ear. My handle across the eye area and WL on the chin. I was so looking forward to meeting some DISers, but alas none.
My DD is making one that I can pin to my hat on our next trip to WDW.
How do I know all this, Ratpack of course.

I'll give you my two cents on FW. When we were in the World in 1999, my whole fam stayed at WL. Toward the end of the week my sister and her fam and my brother and his fam moved over to FW cabins. The cabins are VERY roomy. Good for a growing family.

However, the transportation in my opinion was AWEFUL!! We waited and HOUR for a bus. We saw the same bus go by 5 times and eventually, he stopped and said - "The bus hasn't been here yet?" So he called on his radio and passed by 3 more times!!! Eventually, he was kind enough to take us to our destination!!

Anyhooo, that's the only thing that stops me from booking a cabin (or staying at FW at all).

Has anyone ever used a towncar service to WL? I am curious. They mentioned a $9 ticket they have to buy, and charge us back for, to pick us up. Does anyone know what they are talking about?

Lisa, we have used a Towncar twice to get to WDW from the airport, and I'm not familiar with any $9 ticket thing. ??? We used Tiffany.

Same here. We paid a flat rate to Tiffany. It's possible that it was buried in the cost though.

I remember a post awhile ago, stating the car services had to pay to enter WDW resorts even though they were just dropping people off... hmm, quite a profit there huh??

I know some services DO NOT CHARGE the customer for the gate fee.... I wonder if they get some sort of waiver because they're there so many times or what. That would be the fair thing for WDW to do... after all the car services are bringing people to the property to spend lots of money!!
