I'm jealous of you single digit dancers.

So, since I couldn't do the single digit dance, I called the itinerary planning folks and did all of my PS's, so I could somehow feel like I'm part of the excitement.

One good note is Fabian is starting to turn towards the north, so maybe my little caper had some effect.

We are staying at the Wilderness lodge for the first time in Dec and was wondering if someone could tell me what location to request on the concierge floor. We would really like to see some of MK and maybe some fireworks. But I also need bunkbeds for my 2 sons, one of which will be turning 2 years old while we are there. I have already requested these items and I would feel better if I knew which location (wing?) to request. I do know that these are simply request and I could very well end up looking at the parking lot but it never hurts to ask.

Thanks so much for trying to ward off the evil weather spirits....I truly hope it does keep them away from everyone.

I lived in Florida for 9 years and in all that time there was only ever 1 flash flood warning that I can remember actually happening....so hopefully that will stay away too.........stay safe and as dry as you can!!!!

I was reading through the original FAQ and it seems everyone is getting great advice from 999ghosts but I don't see any posts by 999ghosts? I feel like I'm missing a ton of great info? Were they deleted? Am I blind?

999 Ghost was someone who worked for WL and was giving us priceless information and advice on the resort(especially regarding Rm #s). Unfortunately, she was advised to "NO LONGER POST"(I am assuming by someone in WDW). Her logger name was removed, along with all the great posts containing info. She is soooo missed! When I went back to the original post last week, I noticed they were all gone. All that is left are the Thank You(s) by all the happy WL Vets!

In most cases you would be very right. The problem is we have had so much rain for the past 8 weeks, the ground is soaked. On tonights news they addressed this and said a 3 inch rain could flood all low areas. a lake near me has risen 2 feet over the docks in peoples back yard.

Disney drains well so it will have no effect on the fun, just pack rain gear to be safe. Heck I have been needing a Spiderman fix, so may mosey down to US one day soon.

FC...................You must have done one heck of a job chasing Fabian away because I see on the weather this evening that it is heading away from you. Woo Hoo! I'm glad to hear that hopefully Majestic, Corky, and all the others in single digits won't get drenched and blown away! Okay, well I guess there is still a chance for rain since THAT IS ALL IT DOES ON THE EAST COAST NOW, but you can handle rain in Disney World. Now here at home its a different story.... , I'm having a hard time dealing with another whole week of wet!

Majestic...

Our stay is the 7th-12th. We're taking advantage of the Florida Play 4 days pass. My dd's only disappointment will be that Thomas the Train is not at disney!! I'm hoping for a room with a view of the castle but don't know if I should fax a request or just take my chances of getting a great location. I'll take a ton of pictures and will hopefully get some sent to you when we're back.

You did not mention what view you booked. If it is standard or woodsview, then fax a request for rooms on the north wing, 5th floor. If you require a smoking room then request 6th floor. You do not want a room with a number any lower then ##16 as MK is block by trees.

Send your fax three days before your check in date, after 4:00 PM EDST. If you need help laying out a request letter, PM me and I will send back a samle.

I dont care if there was a blizzard heading to Orlando Im still going, and I would still go swimming, I have been waiting too long to let some bad weather mess with my vacation.

keith-atl: Pretty much what we do with any vacation. We can make plans down to the last detail, but weather is not one of them. Come on down the Magic awaits, just be aware when it is lighting you have to get out of the pool..

Thanks FC. You guys make it a whole lot easier but...well... you know. Either way it's hard. Trying to get past this time to be able to go down to the magic and really enjoy.

Kisses and hugs from DD and DW last night were a big help. I am lucky to have them.
