New 2009 Theme Decorations

We check-in on Saturday and we'll be there for a week. I promise I'll take photos of each and every celebration decoration.

I know the stage show will be in rehab for a week or so this month. I forgot what dates so I am thinking after that will be a new or a similar show to YOMD.

According to Steve Soares, the stage show will be down until January 20.

I did hear on another thread that the CHristmas decorations would be up until Jan.5, so maybe there will be a big change this weekend? I hope so!

It is January 8th already and no one has any pics yet?

I am dying to see the new decorations

I was at MK today and nothing nada. I asked when they would be up and no one knew when or IF they were going to be decor. I was like HUH! I know the stage show is out until Jan 20th and the new parade starts around the same time. So i would guess by then we should have some sort of decor up. . Right now you wouldn't even know that there is a new theme going on expect for the bags.

But I have to tell you the new 2009 stuff looks great. I have to go buy some things next time.

Well that just isnt right!!!! You shouldnt do a new promotion and not have anything to show!! I hope they have something up by next Friday!!!! I love the MK bare and all...it is still pretty! But Im just excited to see something new! IF THEY HAVE IT UP! LOL

Yes, the YoaMD decorations are STILL up everywhere. There are less, but not all are down yet. We did see sevral people wearing the Celibration buttons though. I saw lots of Birthday and Tru Love ones. Some green ones (which we got) and some first fists ones.

But no, they are not out.

I hope to see some pictures soon... I go on Jan. 16th for my birthday. I guess I never noticed when Disney transitioned from one event to the YOAMD but it seems like those with early birthdays don't get the full experience. Good thing I am returning in June for my graduation celebration.

I was at DTD yesterday and they still had YOMD banners up inside and in the parking lot so as a PP stated maybe they will be a big magical changeover this weekend.
