Since I am a teacher and summer has started... Netflix has been eating my life away! We got a PS3 several months back and the instant streaming has just DONE ME IN! Movies and TV shows I NEVER would have otherwise watched, too...Romy and Michele's HS Reunion, Mrs. Winterbourne... the stuff that is on our queue is just off the wall! Then it gets weirder - Fraggle Rock, Super Mario Bros. Super Show, and other random shows from when I was a kid. We've been getting the Garfield and Friends DVDs delivered by mail, and that show is MUCH funnier now that I'm a grownup (well, sort of).

The WORST by far has been The Office (which I SWORE I would never get into and now I can't wait for it to come back in the fall) and now in a close second, Doctor Who. DH has watched that for a long time and now I've been sucked in.

It's gonna be the death of me... any other addicts out there?

Me too

Bones, the Tudors, Angel, Leverage all shows I have watched on Netflicks

Netflix is driving me insane!!!! Only because I got the disc for me Wii today and I can't get my Wii to connect to the internet :confused3 I spent HOURS onl the phone with Nintendo tech support with no luck. Apparently, I need to change the channel on my wireless router but DH has forgotten the password. I guess I'll spend another few hours on the phone with the router people.

Hopefully it will be resolved tomorrow.....I'm so excited about it!!!!

Glad I'm not the only one. We have a Wii and I was sick all day yesterday. I watched most of season one of Laguna Beach and I watched about 4 episodes of a Starz tv show called Party Down. It's actually very good. Megan Mulloly(sp) from Will and Grace is in it. Unfortunately, they only had season 2 available and since I had never seen it before, it took me a couple of episodes to figure out who was who. I really liked it though, but its adult only (like most tv shows on those channels). Gotta love technology!

Umm yeah. Hmm so far, Earth2, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, and next is Surface. I have been staying up way to late. Have fun.

DH and i also get Netflix as well. we get it thru the mail and i've streamed it on my computer. we have a Wii but DH keeps putting off actually setting it up so it can stream live on there lol

I have 250+ movies/television seasons in my queue and it grows everyday. I LOVE instant watch! The funny thing is that I never used it until I got it to stream to my television.

We're just about done with Dexter Season 3, about to start True Blood Season 2.

Party Down Season 1 is available. You have to logon on the the Netflix website and add it to your "instant queue" from there. Remember, they only show a small sample of stuff on the Wii screen. You have to go to the website to browse through all of the instant streaming selection.

I loooooooooove my netflix stream on my ps3!

I suggest you check out the show Primeval , it's soooo good!

I right there with you! The minute we received the streaming disc from Wii, I went out and bought a wireless router.

I don't even look at the regualr movies on Netflix anymore. (unless it is a new release that I have been waiting to see). I go right to the instant play movies and put them in my queue.

The instant streaming has me sooooo spoiled. I just love how we can access old tv shows and movies with the push of a button. We watched a League of Their Own last weekend. My Dd is dying to see Curly Sue. These are all movies I would never think of renting, because I saw them way back when they 1st came out.

I love you :lovestruc

Seriously, thank you!! I will add it right now!

It is so easy. My DD and I did it, actually, I think she did it while I read the instructions. All you have to do is put the disc in the Wii and when it shows Netflix on the Wii menu, you select it. It will ask you for a code that you will have to get from your Netflix acct online and you enter that and you are ready to go! Anyone can do it, don't wait on your DH. It's soooo easy!! :thumbsup2

I've had netflix for years. Unfortunately, I don't have a wii or ps3 as I'm not that into video games.
I also don't watch online as my ancient computer is too slow. I have a great internet connection though.

So currently I just deal with the mail.

I am so confused!:confused3:confused3

We have Netflix and I've only gotten them by mail and we have a Wii. From what CaliforniaDreamin said, we have to put a "disc" in the Wii and select Netflix from the menu. My question is, what disc?

I have access to watch Netflix instantly as well but don't understand exactly HOW to do it on my TV. I don't want to watch them on my computer.

Please assist!

Thanks - Diane

I don't currently have Netflix, but I want to join.
Quick question: Are all the Netflix movies available via the Wii or just certain ones?
(I wasn't too keen on getting DD the Wii for Christmas last year, but now I'm glad I got it. :) )

Just go to your Netflix account online. There should be a tab that says "watch instantly" and you should be able to click on the Wii and get it from there. It's a disc you keep - it doesn't count as your rental.

I think I'm gonna watch Doctor Who and fold some clothes now...

diane, you order the disc (free) from netflix. its a disc you register and keep and when you want to watch thru the wii, you just insert it. its very user friendly! one thing I didn't realize at first was there are a lot more titles for streaming than initially show up. just go to netflix.com and add away to your instant queue, just like you do your regular queue.

you do need to have your wii hooked up to your wireless, so you need a wireless modem for your computer/turn your wireless on for the wii.
