Nervous but very excited!

We did it! On our way (hopefully) to becoming DVC members for the first time.
We found what I hope is a great resale contract for BWV-just faxed our paperwork & deposit and now the waiting begins.
How long does it normally take for Disney to ROFR? I am anxious to plan a vacation this fall (I know BWV may not be available due to Food & Wine events but we wanted to make our first purchase there so we would have 11 mo. advantage)

as far as how long will ROFR take, I just submitted a contract on 5/18 and it passed yesterday...but DVC has historically taken up to a month for rofr.

Good luck. It will take about 8 to 19 weeks to get signed sealed and delivered. Then you can make that vacation come to life.

We submitted our contract on the 13th of May and were notified today that it PASSED!! We were very surprised to hear so soon.

Thank you for all the comments. Still waiting to hear ROFR but keeping positive. Can't stop dreaming about DVC and driving my husband a bit crazy with all my 'future' plans I will try to remember to update as soon as we hear anything. So excited that hopefully BWV will be our home soon.

thank you!! I have been researching and reading about DVC on this board for over a year before we finally decided to take a leap resale (through TSS)
I hope that closing will go smoothly and quickly. Really want to start making plans for later this year. Hoping I can get into BWV after Thanksgiving but realize it is a busy time of year-will just be happy to be anywhere in the park this year
