So, I'm at that magical age...2 kids will be in public school, and one in preschool. We already decided that I'll be going to college a few nights a week, using my Montgomery G.I. Bill. Then we did they math, and the majority of my G.I. Bill money will be going to aftercare for the oldest two, and preschool for the youngest.
I'm considering going back to work, part time, and I'm a little nervous. I don't know why. I feel a little bad that I won't be a full-time mommy to my "baby" like I was for the older two.
We aren't struggling, but can always use some extra money, KWIM? And I'd rather be a contributing member of our family than sit around an empty house all day. DH of course says I'm crazy.

Why are you not going to school during the day? :confused3

Doing so would eliminate the need for your older children to be in an after school program as you would most likely be at home when they get off of the bus.

Also, most colleges have daycare programs(granted, there may be a waiting list) so your youngest could be supervised on campus while you are there.

Getting a part time job on a Friday night and on weekends may eliminate the need for your children to be babysat, that is if your husband is normally available at those times!
