(Disclaimer -- I love dogs - this is no way a dog hating post.)
DD and I moved into our new house in May. We are now having an issure with our neighbor's dog.
Background ---
When we moved in we were so busy all the time that we fell asleep quickly and easily. Over the summer dd was up later and we often had the windows closed and the AC on.
Well, now it is nice out so we have our windows open. Also since dd is in school she needs to go to sleep earlier.
The problem---
Our neighbor lets thier dog out quite often. When ever the dog is out it barks at everything! It justs barks to hear the sound of its own bark. The problem is that dd has been having trouble going to sleep because of said barking dog.
DDs room heats up quickly if the window is not open. It is not hot enough in the evenings to warrent having the AC on.
So my question is: how should I approach my neighbor about thier barking dog?
I need to do something so that dd can get some sleep.
