My daughter in law is in preterm labor at 25 weeks and we can't even think about going to Disney next month. We are booked through Travelocity with the 30 + 10 discount and are pretty sure they adhere to Disney's cancellation policy, which I think should be a complete refund. But what about all of our tickets (old and new from UT) that are linked in MDE and the magic bands for this trip? This is the last thing I want to have to deal with right now. Any ideas on what to expect?? If I do nothing will the tickets just remain in MDE for a future trip?? I know I need to call Disney, but I just can't have a magical day right now.

I am so sorry to hear about your DIL. I hope that everything will be OK. As to WDW tickets, they should be fine. Unused tickets and nonexpiry tickets will still be good until you start to use them for a later visit.

I'm not sure about Travelocity, but if it is a room only reservation and they follow WDW cancellation policy, then you have until 5 days before arrival date to cancel without penalty. If it's a package, then I'm not sure how it all works. Someone else?

Right now, just take care of yourselves. There will be time to call WDW in a few days when this situation is resolved. Try not to worry about it.

Travelocity charges no fees for having to cancel a hotel or package, but does adhere to Disney's cancellation policy.

If it's a package you'll receive a full refund if you cancel no later than 45 days prior to the trip. If it's 44 days or prior there is a $250 cancellation fee. As for the tickets as long as they are unused or non-expiring you can save them for use at a later date.

To the OP, I hope that all goes well for your daughter-in-law. I can't imagine how nervewracking the situation is but there are numerous options to help those experiencing preterm labor extend their labor or even stop it completely. It's a fragile time but I hope all is well! :goodvibes

If it's room only, you have up to 6 days prior to cancel. I would just hold off for now until you see how she is doing.
