Need stay recommendation- our plan fell through

You've gotten some great recommendations. We loved Orange Lake and the Vistana suggested. Another possibility I didn't see any posters mention (some great deals here on owner rentals and good retail deals too) is Cypress Pointe and Cypress Pointe Grand Villas. We've stayed here three different times. It's very close to downtown Disney (closer to most parks than Orange Lake and the Vistana). You could even walk to some resturants, etc. here. It's a very nice condo resort. Do note though that the second bedroom is quite small, just two twins, so we have always gotten a three bedroom here (two masters plus the small bedroom with two twins.) // Owner rental here can often be found on TUG2.net or Redweek.com if you are interested in looking at that. Retail is a good value too. In the last "Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World" book I bought (it's a couple of year back), these resorts were rated as one of the best values in Orlando (quality for the price). We've always been very satisfied here.
