Hi,

I need to know exactly when I should call to book my trip for next summer..

I want to book a week at SSR and a week at Vero..

I want to go to SSR the last week in June and then head over to Vero and be there till about or around July 5th...
I know Vero is very popular in the summertime so I was wondering when I should call to book.

My home resort is SSR so I know I can call 11 months out and seven for Vero. But is it going to be hard to get Vero 7 months out...Am I right about when to call????Thanks,,,,

To book the entire trip on one call but independently for SSR & VB, you'd call 11 months and 7 months respectively from the check out day. I doubt you have to worry about calling day by day unless you're trying to get a 3 BR either location. Good luck.

So a one bedroom I should be able to get at the 7 month window or should I call day by day for Vero...Does Vero get that busy in the summertime..?????>

VB busy time is Xmas to mid April. Mid summer will have a smaller peak but you should be able to get anything other than possibly a 3 BR BC on one call. If you're nervous and want to be sure, call day by day. 1 & 2 BR likely are the most difficult at VB but you should be fine. If something happens, just make sure to get on the wait list.

Really one and two bedrooms are usually the most difficult to get at Vero????

Can you explain two things to me how does a wait list work and what is calling day by day??????

There are only 18 dedicated 2brs at VB and 36 lock-off units(1br+studio).

I own at VB and called day by day for a dedicated 2br for Easter 2008(highly recommended by MS). You call the first day and tell them you are doing a day by day reservation, they get all the info and check out date. You then call everyday adding the next day on(really quick). I was rather shocked as I expected to spend a week being on hold forever, but got in right away for all 6 days.

Compared to studios and Inn rooms. The BC will likely be the most difficult overall.

The dedicated 2 BR are the end units nearest A1A and away from the road.

How big are the beach cottages???

I think that this should be our last time of having really to go with the dedicated units. I have a just turned 6 yr old, that I really wouldn't put it past him to go out the other outside door(he's my daredevil).

I actually lobbied for the lockoff, I think you had mentioned in another post that they were a better location, but DH trusts DS6 less than me!:rotfl:

There are locks you can buy so it's not an issue.
