Need quick help. ? merging DVC ressie and regular resort room???

I"m thinking about paying cash for a 2 bedroom BCV room for Sun and Mon night and booking the same room through DVC for Tuesday ( the only night it is available). Will I be able to link these somehow so that we do not have to move???

I've had success (as long as it is exactly the same category/view/etc) when I've called MS and ask that they notate on both reservations that there's a continuing stay. I also make sure I physically stop at the front desk at check in to double confirm.

If you book through DVC for both, no problem. If the cash is with CRO, they are not connected so you might have to move.

The cash is with CRO. I hope we do not have to move, that is the whole purpose of cash and points

I believe you likely will have to move. CRO and DVC are Totally different inventories in different systems.
The cash/points you referred to are only when they are both booked through DVC.

Apparently not even then according to dvc member services.
