Need Information About The POFQ

I am planning a trip in November and Reserved a room at POFQ.
just want to know what ny one thought of this resort or any tips.
Please tell me what you think opf this resort .

I have stayed there on several occasions and I love this resort. Its small size assures that you are never very far away from anything. I think the resort grounds are quite charming and the rooms are attractive. I have never had a bad stay there, and I am going back in Aug. Check out pictures on allearsnet.com. I have stayed at POFQ a couple of times and been well satisfied with my stay. I am not a motel person, preferring the space of condos. POFQ was fine. The small size is nice and the grounds are beautiful. The boat to DTD is great!

Small size and easily navigable. Great pool. GREAT pool slide. It was a great hit with the kids. I even went down a few times. I could not resist. I was not alone in this. It seems that the adults get infected with child like glee on this thing. DTD is a very leisurely boat ride and an excellent side trip. Restaurants are close and convenient. Boatwrights is right down the path at POR. The atmosphere is low key and quiet but not too quiet. The landscape adds to the whole effect of the resort. The place is very relaxing. The bus stop is the first pick up on the line and the first drop off. The rooms are large enough for our family of four to relax and rest comfortably.

We love it!! We've stayed there twice and just love the grounds...so beautiful. The food court is fine, nothing too special but adaquate. The rooms are lovely and a decent size. The small size of the resort is very appealing....everything is a short walk. Have a great trip!

I agree with other posters about how nice POFQ is. If you've booked a standard view room, you may want to call CRO and request a "Courtyard View". Standard view can include a room that faces towards the parking lot or one that faces into one of the lovely courtyard gardens.

The one downside to POFQ, IMO, is the lack of sit-down restaurant. However, Boatwright's at POR is only a 10-15 min. walk away on a paved path along the river (lovely walk). If you plan to go to Boatwright's in the evening, stop by guest services at POFQ in the morning and book a PS -- we found Boatwright's completely booked up when we just dropped in one evening, but had no problem getting a PS the next morning for dinner the same day.

POFQ is very nice. We have stayed there and love it, in fact, we are staying again in July. I totally agree with all of the above post. We love it!

This past December was our first stay and POFQ and we LOVED it! We had the most wonderful experience, I would stay there again in a heartbeat. We have reservations for Pop this Nov but if they (Please, Jesus, Please) extend the free dining plan to the next value season we may try and stay there again. The atmosphere was delightful, so small and quiet, it felt like you had the resort to yourself! Plus, Boatwrights was a short walk away and, suprisingly, this was one of our BEST dining experiences this past trip. We'd tried Boatwrights a few years ago and were not impressed but had an amazing dining experience there this year. If you go, make sure and try the crab cakes and the pork tenderloin. Yum, yum, yum! The boat ride to DTD is fantastic! My DH got completely addicted and we could get to DTD no other way than by boat! You have to try this a couple of nights while you're there. Entering the lake at DTD at night and seeing all those lights really will take your breath away! Have a magical trip!

Our first stay was last November and we loved this resort! We paid the extra to get the water view on the river and it was worth it. The moon reflected off the black water at night! Very relaxing place to stay and the staff was VERY, VERY helpful. The rooms are beautiful, the beds comfortable, and the hot tub most needed after a busy day!!

We just got back from POFQ and loved it! My kids loved the pool, I liked that everything was close by. Great resort!!!
