I love the Boardwalk Inn!

There is an elevator on the boardwalk level just behind the Flying Fish.

I can think of several other resorts that require more walking than BW.
Most rooms have 2 queens, but they also have rooms with king beds. That is what we had.
Who cares how big the lobby is?? We were only in the lobby for about 10 minutes (to check-in). Our room was large, clean, and beautiful.

We had a great view of Illuminations every night.

I think it was the most romantic resort we ever stayed at.
Also, there is a DVC desk in EVERY resort, not just BW. They never bother anyone... they just answer questions and give out information to people who are interested.
There are boats to Epcot and MGM... you don't have to walk. They are very convenient and run all day. The walk from the boat ramp to the Inn is very short.... much shorter than the walk at GF from the monorail to Sago Cay (for example).
If you don't like walking then Disney is probably not a good vacation spot. Personally, I can walk all day and I never get tired. I guess I'm in good shape!
