Need hotel and birthday ideas

We are arriving in the afternoon and were planning on staying near the airport since our AOA isn't booked until the following day. We will get back to the airport the next day and get to AOA.
It is my husbands birthday so I was looking to a cheap hotel were we may be able to get a shuttle to do something fun or be close to restaurants. We have a family of 6 and looking for one room.

any suggestions?

With 6 people, you need a suite. I've stayed at Springhill Suites before and it's fine. Embassy Suites is also nearby. This is your typical cluster of hotels near the airport kind of area. There are some typical chain restaurants nearby like Chilis and Denny's. With no car you will just have to settle for something. They have shuttles that go to the airport, but not any entertainment areas.

Not that I have seen anyway.

The Residence Inn near SeaWorld is nice and very reasonable and is right by all the stuff on IDrive. You can check out all the reviews on tripadvisor for it. It is also an easy drive to the airport.

And...my brain isn't working right now. What is AOA?
