We will be having our memories collection wedding on Oct. 1st but it will just be DF and myself. But, we have decided to have it podcasted for all family and friends back home in TX. We are wanting to send out a accouncment\invitation for the podcast. 1. Do you think thats a good idea? 2. Do you think its ok for us to put where were registered at? 3. I need help with the wording!!

This is kinda along the lines I was thinking for now. I am going to get these made or printed off of some website with a cute theme.

Our Once Upon A Time is turning into a Happily Ever After in the Happiest Place on Earth! Please join us and be part of the magic at www.blahblahblah.com on Saturday October 1st at 9:00EST.

Dreams Do Come True!

Hunter and Lauren are registered at blah blah blah and blah blah blah

I think it's a great idea!!! What we are doing for our invitations are just adding our website on them, and our website will have where we are registered. We didn't want to put them on the invitations so we liked this idea better :)

we webcasted our wedding and it went really well!

i made up a "flyer" thing and emailed it and posted it on my/our blogs like this: http://lisafarry.wordpress.com/2011/01/22/we-are-on-our-way/

i did stick our (non-disney) wedding website as a link on there somewhere, kinds smallish. i think it is fine as an announcement (printed/mailed) as well - although i worry about wedding website content too because if there is anything on the website going on and on about how many fabulous things even a small wedding party is doing, i worried family would be offended or put off. i think, if i were going to snail mail something about the webcast before hand, i would just make it close enough to the wedding time to not be construed as an invite. i guess i mean to say, mail it alot closer to the wedding date then you would an actual invitation.

i think its fine and cute! lots of great feedback from family and friends - which i saw it myself!!!:thumbsup2

oh i just reread my own darn announcement! ha! i put registry info on the bottom. i think i decided last minute not to put either the disney website or our own wedding website on as to not annoy people. why that would be potentially more annoying than registry info, i do not know!!!!!
:rotfl:

i think we were feeling that several folks had asked about registry stuff and thats about the only thing we sent to anyone with it actually on it.

I think this is a lovely idea. :goodvibes

Though it may need explaining to older relatives who aren't familiar with the concept. Maybe follow it up with a phone call? Or you cut put some wording in to explain it.

I also did a quick google and found this webpage that you might find useful with lots of wording examples:

Be sure to post when you're done - be lovely to see them :)

What a great idea!!! :worship: I really wish we would have done that!

The company we used STVS video streamed it live in HD on their website. Too bad we didn't know that until after :rotfl:

STVS is actually who we are using! We can't wait!

Thank you I will check out that website!

If anyone has any suggestions feel free to help :yay:
