One year my daughter had received as present one of those balsam wood skelton kits of a t rex - she put it together - and pictures from the bone pit at AK where she was digging for bones - she was "Sue" who had found Sue - along had a paper about finding Sue for the day of the fair - she wore jeans, boots, demin shirt, and including her mickey mouse ears pith helmet
(picture me carrying in a 4 1/2 ft skelton that morning)
another year she did mummies - and the process they went through to make a mummy - my dad had found a kit that you could make plaster of paris mummies - they spent alot of time together making mummies and painting them in their various stages
