I know that we can use a boat but I'm not sure which one or what stop to use. Also how often do they run and how long is the trip? Thank you for your assistance.

Look for the boat going to Ft. Wilderness. There are signs for each dock. I think it should be the only stop. If there's another one, it would be at Wilderness Lodge. Listen to what the crew says. When it doubt, ask.

I think they run ~every 20-30 minutes and the trip will take ~20-30 minutes.

It's very easy. You'll go to the big dock that says Wilderness Lodge/Ft Wilderness. Depending on the time of day, sometimes they share boats, sometimes they each have their own. Someone will guide you. Take the boat to Ft Wilderness. The boats run all day until after the parks close. The ride is not long, maybe 10 minutes. PH is a short walk from the boat dock.

You also can go by bus.

First you would need to catch a bus to Ft. Wilderness and then after that drops you off, you then wait for another internal bus that runs around Ft. Wilderness that will stop at Pioneer Hall, Enjoy the show!

There is no regular bus from MK to FW, you could take a bus to WL then transfer to the FW internal bus that goes out to WL, the next stop would be the one for Pioneer Hall. The boat is easy and only one stop.

Why no bus to that resort from Magic Kingdom? they make everyone take the boat?
what if you don't like boats and stay at that resort?

I really don't know why, but they haven't had one for a very long time. If you want the bus you have to ride the internal bus out to WL and get the MK bus there. No bus is the reason only the large cruisers serve the MK to FW boat route, the cruisers can handle wheelchairs and ECVs the smaller ones can't.
Again I don't know why, it just is one of those things. I wish it did have a bus, but to make the trip shorter than the boat it would need to leave from the Settlement stop, not outpost where all the other park buses are. It could even share with WL and still be a quick trip.
