I will be arriving at London Gatwick in July. I plan to stay a few days and then take the train to Disneyland Paris. I believe this is the Eurostar train. I will return to London, and then take another train to Bristol Parkway. Is this also a Eurostar train?

I plan to walk and take the subway (tube?) around while in London. Could someone please name a few hotels (reasonably priced) that will be convenient - maybe a block or two- to both the train station I will utilizing and a tube(?) station that will help my teenager and I find the main tourist attractions in London? We will be two ladies alone and have never been to England, so I'm concerned about safe areas, etc.

I hope something like this even exists. Thank you all for your help!!!

You will be using 2 different train stations in London. The Eurostar is just the international service from Waterloo. The Bristol Parkway trains will run from London Paddington which is a tube journey from Waterloo. You will need to use the Bakerloo line (shown in brown on the underground maps) and it's about 20 minutes. That line does get quite busy as it runs through the centre of London.

These two websites might be of help for tube and train info.

PS I forgot to mention that the mainline stations (i.e.not the underground) also have underground stations at the same location.

Regent Palace. picadilly is an ok budget hotel and very central for the underground and attractions

As has already been said, you will need to get a train out of Paddington to get to Bristol.

I have stayed at the Premier Travel Inn at County Hall which is right by the London Eye and an easy walk from Waterloo station. It should cost just under £100.
You can also use Westminster tube station, which is just across Westminster Bridge. Great views of the Houses of Parliament from here.
Most of London is pretty safe. Just stick to the tourist areas and you'll be fine.
