Need Help from A Disney Pro on Wishes Party??

So here I am thinking I know all about WDW and dining and reservations, etc LOL

Never even heard of Wishes Dessert Party so I guess my ego just took a hit!

Very interested in going week we are there from Dec 13-20. I know I may not get a spot but if I can.........*fingers crossed*

What time exactly should I aim for? The fireworks are at? I am also reading I can see the parade from the area (noodle station) so what time are the parades? Would you go on the same night as your MVMCP??

I need to have the correct info and what I want when I phone b/c I keep hearing mixed reviews about correct info coming back from CM's.

I would not waste valuable party time at the dessert party plus Christmas Wishes is best viewed from Main Street.

You can "see" the parade floats from the terrace, but you will miss the ground elements, including the walking characters, dancing butterflies etc. for Spectromagic and the dancers and Toy Soldiers (the best element) for the Christmas parade.

CMs are not really good at booking the party, the party begins one hour before Wishes is scheduled, so that is the time you should request. I called the morning availabilty opened up and the CM could only find the party for one night, I took it, but knew the party was available other nights.

We are going on 12/13 (non-mvmcp night) I suggest going when there is nothing else going on. the only times available are 1 hour before fireworks. If a CM tells you they only have the dessert party on mvmcp nights call back and speak with someone else because that is wrong.

DEC 13 is a party night. Just in case.

You don't request a time...tell them you want to go to the Wishes Dessert Party and they will give you a time approx 1 hr before wishes starts. I received a time of 8:05 for a 9 pm Wishes. Another group there the same nite got a 7:50 time. So it sounded like they gave a few different staggered times around the 1 hr prior mark.

We were given a time around 8PM and it was perfect. By the time we were situated, had our desserts it was time for the fireworks. When you call they will give you a time that is available.
