Need help finding small contract...bcv,bwv,vwl,akl

Looking for a small contract to get into one of these resorts any idea where I could find one, maybe 25pts? any help would be awesome, seems most contracts are over 100pts.

Prefer this order and only need one not 4 contracts, my home resort is okw(in rofr, and want to also have a choice at 11 months out)
1. BWV
2. VWL
3. AKL
4. BCV

I know direct pricing for BWV is $113 or $115 per point, a small contract on the resale market will probably run you $60-$75 per point. A couple of things to keep in mind when looking for small contracts:

1)Expect to pay a premium for a small contract. You likely won't get a seller to agree to the lower prices you see people getting on the ROFR thread, but even with the small-contract premium, you'll come out well ahead of what the direct points would cost.

2) Finding a contract as small as 25 points will be difficult at best. Talk to some of the brokers and let them know exactly what you're looking for and work with them to find something. You may have to settle for 50-75 points if you can't find 25.

This may not be a very quick process, but if you have the time to wait, you can do better than the prices Disney is charging.

I hate to be a crepe hanger but I think that finding 25 points at half direct price is a long shot. Contracts that small are few and far between and command higher prices than larger resale contracts. Remember that you must also factor in closing costs. Good luck but be prepared to wait a while.

I would guess that 80% of the contracts sold were at the Disney minimum ie 160 points. Only add ons would be less and anyone who adds on isn't as likely to sell.

Maybe I'm misreading your post...but you said you own OKW and are adding on to have a choice at 11 months out...

That made me wonder if you're aware you can use ONLY the points at your home resort from 11-7 months? i.e., you can't combine your 25 add-on points at BWV w/your OKW points at 11 months...you can only book BWV with your 25 BWV points (you can borrow and bank so every 3 years you could have as much as 75 poiints to "play with")...you can combine your BWV and OKW points at 7 months, of course...but not between 11 and 7...

Sorry if you knew this and I misunderstood your comment...but if you didn't, it's a pretty important thing to know!

Ohhhh i thought as long as you owned at a property you could use any points at the 11 month window. Bummer would've looked for one of those as main resort. Too late now because it's in rofr right now and don't see why it wouldn't pass. Darn!!!

Owning at resort XYZ doesn't automatically allow you to book there 11 months out. You have to have enough XYZ points in your account to pay for the reservation. In fact, non-owners can book there 11 months out if they have XYZ points transferred into their account from an XYZ owner.

Having enough home resort points to pay for the reservation is what allows you to book a particular resort in the home resort booking window (11 months to 7 months plus 1 day from check in).
