Need help finding hotel on the way down...

Ok we are trying to find a hotel outside (south side) of Atlanta, GA that has a hotel w/ an indoor pool... ??? ANYONE??? what's the best sites to look at? suggestions?

Not sure how far south of Atlanta you're looking, but Macon is about an hour and a half south of Atlanta, and Valdosta is a little over two hours south of Macon. Both have about every chain of hotel known to man.

One thing I notice is that the farther south you get, fewer and fewer hotels have indoor pools. I tend to stay in Hampton Inns, they usually have reasonable rates, they're clean and you get breakfast. There are 3 Hampton Inns around Macon -

Hampton - I-475 - outdoor pool
Hampton - Warner Robbins - indoor pool
Hampton - Perry - outdoor pool

You can check out Hampton Inns by going to www.hamptoninn.com, or you can try Travelocity or Trip Advisor to see all the hotels in the area.

thanks, my grandparents have hilton honors so i think they can make our reservation and get our rates a little cheeper... and then we can just pay them before we go... My mom and step dad are going with us and they are taking my step brother to his mom's in atlanta on the way down, so we figured we could keep going and they could meet us on down at the hotel... but i HAVE to have an indoor pool to wear out the kids before the they go to bed....

I use www.i75exitguide.com when traveling down I-75 to Florida. It lists the hotels, restaurants, gas stations, etc. at every exit on I-75 from Michigan to Florida.

We usually stay at Hampton Inn's near Valdosta.
