My brothers house burnt down last night. Everyone is safe but they lost everything. They are saying it was the lint trap in the dryer.

Lint traps in the dryer are so easy to overlook. And lint that gets trapped in the hose, between the dryer and the vent outside too.

There is a little more to this story but I'm waiting to see how it plays out before saying anything. Me and my other SIL had the same thought so I know i'm not the only one who thinks what I think. I want to see what the final out come it first. But I will tell you if what I think is true it was SICK!!!

Yes I am which is really sad but I'm not the only one my whole family thinks the same thing. My heart breaks for the kids if this is true. I also found out that my bros wife got a letter in the mail stating that if she didn't pay her restitution she would be going back to jail, it is over 17,000 and it has to be paid by tomorrow. There is a lot more to this and her but I'm going to wait till I hear what the fire dpt says. This is such a sad situation. And IF it is true she will not be seen for a long while. I have nothing more to do with a woman that would put her kids in danger like that. Right now this is speculation though. There is more to what she did and where she was at when it happened BTW. Even my bro is suspicious.

This is so terrible... and incredibly sad! Are you saying that he deliberatly started a fire in the dryer lint trap? I can't even imagine! So sorry you and your family are going through this.

I agree I hope it is not true. Really I do. B/c if it is that means she is more far insane than we thought. But of course desperate comes in all kinds of things. And she will go to jail if she doesn't have this amount of money. My bro is refusing to give it to her. I do know she is very angry at him for that.

Your family is definitely in my thoughts and prayers. One of my closest friends house burnt down in February. I'm so glad everyone is okay. It's such a horrible thing to have to go through.
