Need encouragement - what are my chances?

I originally booked a studio at BWV for May 11-17. My son's girlfriend will now be traveling with us so I wanted a one bedroom. I was able to get the one bedroom at BWV except for May 12 and 16. Just wondering what my chances might be of getting it for those two nights. By the way, is there room to put an air mattress - that's what my son will be sleeping on.

What resort? Did you check availablity at all the WDW DVC resorts for a 1 bedroom? I'd try to book one room straight through the stay, even if it wasn't my first choice or home resort. You'll be cramped in a studio with an air mattress, the one bedroom shouldn't be a problem.

Whether or not there is room depends on which resort you are interested in. At OKW there is plenty of room for both an air matress and the pull out sofa. On the other hand, there is probably enough room for a smallish person to sleep on the love seat there too. Can't say about BWV or VWL.

I hope my situation happens to you. We made ressies in June for a studio at VWL. We had our heart set on that resort this time, so didn't consider others. Well, wouldn't you know that one night right in the middle of our trip wasn't available, but a one-bedroom was. Although it would be a pain to move for one night in the middle, we took it, but were wait listed for a studio for that night. It was only about 2 1/2 weeks before the wait list came through and we're now all set! Hope you're as lucky!
