I just got us a room at the Contemporary for the 1st weekend in October. We will have a standard room in the garden wing. I'm guessing that we will have a view of the parking lot... which I don't mind... we are not ones to hang out in the room.

Is there a recommended building or section that would be easiest for us (2 kids and pregnant mommy) to get to the eating areas and monorail?

Any input is welcome! Thanks!

Chances are you would eithet get a view of the convention center or the parking lot and the South Garden Wing is one building, so you don't need to request a specific one.

:cool1: but somewhere on here I read that you should ask for a room close to the tower. Because we stayed there last year in the tower and I went over to the Garden Wing to wash clothes. Yes that is a plus being in the garden wing the laundry room is I believe on the 2nd floor. So you won't have to lug your laundry from the tower to the garden. Which is a real pain if you have little ones and have to do wash. It is a little bit of a walk to the tower/monorail, but it's not that bad. It's a straight walk pass the pool. You will love being at CR. The rooms are nice & big and very comfy. Enjoy.

P.S. I also heard if it's not a busy time of year you should ask when checking in if there's any free or maybe for a free bucks more upgrades to the tower. It can't hurt to try.
